Honest Review: iQOO Service Center Experience in Chennai

Hope you’re all doing great.

With the new year just getting started, I wanted to share something meaningful with all of you my personal experience with iQOO service and support.

Recently, I visited an iQOO service center, and I felt this experience was worth sharing with the community right from why I went, how the process worked, and what impressed me the most, including the post-service follow-up.So, let’s get started 

📍 Location & Reason for Visit

As you all know, I live in Chennai, one of the major metro cities in India. Thankfully, we have multiple iQOO service centers in and around the city.

The nearest one for me was Tambaram, just about 2–3 km from my home.


I visited the service center mainly for:

Back case replacement (it had turned yellowish)

Screen protector replacement (scratches over time)

Apart from this, I genuinely wanted to experience how an iQOO service center works so I could share honest feedback with the community.

📞 Before Visiting the Service Center

I highly recommend calling and booking an appointment before visiting.

All service center details address, phone number, directions, and location are clearly available in the Support section of the iQOO app, and since they’re officially listed, they’re completely reliable.

Once you call and explain your requirement:

If the part is available, they’ll ask you to visit immediately

If it’s not available, they’ll place an order and update you within 3–5 days

In my case, I received a callback within 2 days, confirming that my order had arrived.

Service Center Ambience & First Impression

Trust me this is where iQOO truly surprised me.

The service center was huge, almost like a tennis court, with a premium and relaxing ambience. The interiors, seating, TV setup everything felt modern and well thought out.


They even provided coffee and snacks, making the waiting time comfortable.

Honestly, the ambience was so good that you wouldn’t feel like leaving immediately.

I’ve visited service centers of other brands like Realme and Sony before, but I’ve never experienced this level of ambience in a service center.

For iQOO and vivo, this feels extraordinary.

Service Process & Transparency

The center is a combined vivo–iQOO service center, but there’s a dedicated iQOO counter clearly marked with the logo. You can directly go there, share your concern, and they’ll check your job sheet or appointment details.

Neo & Z series users may wait slightly longer (well managed)

What impressed me the most was complete transparency.

Unlike many service centers where devices are taken into hidden rooms, here:

The repair was done right in front of me

I was even asked to sit near the technician

No closed doors, no hidden process

This level of transparency builds huge trust. It clearly shows the confidence iQOO and vivo have in their skilled service executives.

Service Speed & Free Benefits

My work was simple:

Cleanup

Back case replacement

Screen protector replacement

Everything was completed in just 10 minutes quick, clean, and professional.

I also noticed many users visiting only to replace back cases and screen protectors, because as you all know: 👉 iQOO & vivo offer free back case and screen protector replacement at service centers even without warranty.

That’s a massive plus and a great long-term support move by the brand.

📞 Post-Service Follow-Up (This Part Really Stood Out)

Two days after my visit, I received a follow-up call asking:

If my issue was resolved

If the executive handled everything well

To rate the service out of 5

I rated 4/5.

Interestingly, a 4 isn’t considered “excellent” internally.

A couple of days later, I received another call this time from the service team head asking:

Why it was a 4

Where they could improve

What they could learn from my feedback

I clearly told them the service was good—I just expect them to be even better in the future.


They acknowledged it humbly and appreciated the feedback.

That level of seriousness towards user feedback really impressed me.

🌟 Overall Experience & Final Thoughts

I’ve also visited other iQOO–vivo service centers in Porur and T. Nagar (one of the biggest in Chennai), and my experience has been consistently positive.

Based on my personal experience, I can confidently say: iQOO and vivo offer one of the best smartphone service experiences in India, here in Chennai and TamilNadu.

I’m genuinely proud to be an iQOO user, especially as someone who values both pre-purchase and post-purchase experience.

📸 One Small Suggestion

Sorry for not sharing photos or videos camera usage wasn’t allowed inside the service center.

I humbly request the brand to consider allowing photos/videos with permission, because when something is done so well, it deserves to be seen and shared. This would encourage more users to trust and join the iQOO family.
