Hi Questers,
Finally! It's time for my favorite genre of tech: the smartphone comparison. I love doing these, and today marks the debut of my smartphone comparison series and Obviously for the iQOO Community!
For this grand opening, I couldn't pick anything other than the two hottest smartphones in town: the iQOO 15 vs. the OnePlus 15!
The goal is to show you guys exactly what both of these smartphones are capable of in real life. I promise to be 100% honest with both devices-which means no sugarcoating. > We're starting with the basics: the Benchmark tests. From there, we'll dive deeper into more comparisons as the series continues!
For Benchmark Tests, I have considered 7 Applications.
1. AnTuTu
2. CPU Throttling (Old)
3. 3D Mark WildLife Extreme Stress Test
4. Burnout
5. Geekbench
6. CPDT : Storage Test
First of all, I have been using the iQOO 15 since a long time, and the Storage was 75% occupied out of 512GB but the OnePlus 15 was empty. And, Apart from all the specs OnePlus 15 has a little toned up RAM type so you might notice variations on storage speeds which is not noticeable in real life usecase.
Here, iQOO 15 Performs brilliantly but the OnePlus 15 was Superior by an inch. The battery drain was equal on both the devices after performing the test.
CPU Throttling is one of the oldest and the most traditional method to showcase how much the Throttles during the peak performance.
Here, we can easily see that both of the Smartphones sustained almost same performance but the iQOO 15's Average GIPS score is higher than the OnePlus.
This is my personal favourite benchmarking application, It shows the overall stabilty of the Smartphone in heavy usage.
iQOO Clearly wins this test by showing 63.6% Stabilty whereas OnePlus 15 looses with 57.5% Stability.
This is the only tool available currently which is capable of loading different SoC components simultaneously. It measures the CPU, GPU, And NPU Computational Performance, power consumption and efficiency, and Throttling under full load.
In the Burnout again, iQOO 15 clearly emerges as the Winner with higher Compute Score, Higher performance againts throttling, and Lower wattage.
iQOO 15's Single Core Performance is Higher but OnePlus 15 goes an inch higher in the Multi-Core score. This means, both the smartphones are equally same.
This application measures the the Storage read and write speeds.
Based on certain conditions, the Read, Write and copy speeds are almost +- Similar to each other in every test.
This concludes that, both the smartphones are delivering same performance with the same hardware.
Finally! We come to an end to the benchmark test of both the Flagships. But, surprisingly we do not have a winner yet.
For that, Stay Tuned! Because more real-life performance test is coming your way here.
