Garena has announced its Free Fire 2026 competitive plan, and it’s packed with big news for players and fans.
In 2026, Free Fire esports will grow from 18 to 24 teams at the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand this November.
A standalone Clash Squad tournament will launch in March 2026, giving teams a brand-new competitive stage outside of FFWS.
Free Fire is officially a part of the Esports World Cup 2026 lineup. Its tournament will run from July 15 to 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with 24 top teams from around the world competing.
Clash Squad Tournament – starts in March 2026
FFWS SEA Spring – April 24 to May 31
Free Fire at EWC 2026 – July 15–18
FFWS Global Finals – starts November 6

This roadmap sets up a full year of big Free Fire events, giving teams more opportunities to compete on the global stage.
