The first FFMIC concluded in September 2025, and the top six teams from that edition have been directly invited: Total Gaming Esports, Reckoning Esports (now S8UL), NG Pros (now GDR), S8UL (now RNTX), Team Tycoons (now Olympians), and RNTX (now Team Hind).
The event will feature 48 teams in total, comprising 6 invited teams, 4 teams from offline city qualifiers, and 38 teams from in-game qualifiers (IGQ).
Each city qualifier: held in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad/Surat will have 144 teams competing offline at college venues, with only the top team from each city qualifying. (Teams from other cities probably need to travel to play the lan)
IGQ begins on Feb 15, followed by the group stage from Feb 26. The tournament offers three slots for #EWC2026, with an expected prize pool of over ₹1 crore.
