Hey Questers!
The Panjim Church is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Goa. Located right in the heart of the city, it stands out with its bright white façade and the iconic zig-zag staircase that instantly catches your eye.
Beyond its architectural beauty, this church has also made its mark in Indian cinema. It has been featured in films like Saiyaara, Ek Villain, Dilwale, Simmba, and Aashiqui 2, adding to its popularity and making it a familiar sight for many even before visiting Goa.
The church isn’t just a place of worship, but a cultural and visual anchor for Panjim. Throughout the day, you’ll find locals, tourists, and photographers sharing the space. During festive occasions, the surroundings become even more vibrant, enhancing the character of the location.
I spent some time capturing portraits and scenic frames here, focusing on expressions, symmetry, and the calm atmosphere around the church. The contrast between the white structure and the city backdrop creates frames that feel clean and timeless.
These moments were captured on the iQOO 15, handling natural light, shadows, and movement with ease, whether it was wide city views or close portraits.
