I've seen a lot of mixed feedback on OriginOS 6 rollout (trial/stable) for Neo 10/10R, some battery drain/heating complaints early on, etc. Just wanted to share my side as someone who's been using it smoothly since updating ~

First off, I'm not sure if I got the trial version or if it auto-converted to stable (build was PD2453IF_EX_A_16.1.12.20.W30 from Dec trial push), but no issues at all so far—no crashes, no lag, no weird glitches.

What I love:

UI is fresh and snappier — Progressive blur

effects, light animations, and overall Origin Design feel premium and smooth.

App opening speed is noticeably faster than old Funtouch OS—everything launches quicker.

Battery performance — Surprisingly good! No fast drain during use or gaming.

Overnight idle from 11 PM around (screen off) to 8 AM: only 1% drop 😲 That's way better standby than I expected post-update.

Gaming and daily use feel normal—no extra heat or quick drops.

Overall system feels optimized and responsive.

One small nitpick:

In the Contacts app, the alphabet sidebar letters are super bold/thick now—it looks a bit off and cluttered to me (attached screenshot).

Would love if iQOO tweaks the font weight or style there in a future patch—feels like it could be cleaner.

I'm feeling lucky so far—no major/minor problems, and the new features are hitting right. If you're on the fence about updating, give it a shot and let it settle a few days (backup first!). Battery might vary by usage, but mine stabilized perfectly.
