My brother gifted me the iQOO 7 when I completed my graduation, and I was genuinely very happy. Back then, I played a lot of games on it, especially PUBG. The performance was excellent—smooth frame rates and high graphics settings helped me achieve the Conqueror rank. That alone made the phone special for me.
Like many others, I believed gaming phones are great at performance—processor, GPU, battery—but usually compromise on camera quality. But honestly, I was wrong.
The iQOO 7 surprised me. In several situations, it clicked better photos than an iPhone 14, which was a huge shock for me. The camera quality exceeded my expectations and proved that this phone was not just about gaming.
As they say, every good thing comes to an end. After more than 5 years, my iQOO 7 isn’t what it used to be. Performance is still strong, but battery issues and heating have started, and unfortunately, my display is broken. Since it’s an old model, customer service no longer has replacement parts available.
Even though I’m planning to buy a new phone, I just can’t seem to move on from my iQOO 7. Saying goodbye to this device feels difficult—it’s truly the best smartphone I’ve ever owned
