Hey Questers, Today Let's breadown a myth or a question which generally arises

More FPS or Stable FPS? 🦧

A lot of people look at gaming phones and ask just one thing:

“How much FPS does it give?”

From an esports player's point of view, the real question is different:

" Is the FPS stable?"

What does FPS actually mean?

FPS is how many frames your screen shows every second. Higher FPS looks smoother  yes. But that's only half the story.

In competitive matches, sudden FPS drops hurt more than low FPS.

When FPS drops:

  • Aim feels inconsistent
  • Sprays become hard to control
  • Close fights feel laggy
  • Timing goes off in clutch moments

Your brain expects smooth movement, but the screen doesn't keep up.

That split-second mismatch is enough to lose a fight.

Why pros prefer stable FPS

A steady 60 or 90 FPS that stays consistent is better than:

  • 120 FPS that keeps dropping
  • High numbers only at the start of a match

With stable FPS:

  • Aim stays predictable
  • Muscle memory works properly
  • You can trust your movement and flicks
  • Long scrims feel the same from start to end

In esports, confidence matters — and confidence comes from consistency.\

If we talk about the real match reality official matches are long. Pressure is high.

The device must perform the same in:

  • Early fights
  • Mid-game rotations
  • Final zone chaos

Stable FPS helps players focus on decisions, not device issues.

In long scrims and official matches, iQOO devices have helped us maintain stable FPS, even under pressure.

Good thermal control and sustained performance mean:

  • Less throttling in long sessions
  • Smooth gameplay in mid and late game
  • Same performance in final zone as early fights

That stability allows us to focus on strategy and decisions, not device limitations.

Final thought

High FPS looks good on paper. Stable FPS is what actually wins games.

That's all for today, folks.
