Hey Questers! 👋Manab here.Today sharing some simple tips & tricks on how to shoot 🔥Silhouette photos look super cool, and the best part — they are very easy to click if you know these small tricks 👇
This is the most important rule.
👉 The sun or any bright light should be behind the person or object, not in front.
Best time = sunset or sunrise.
Silhouettes work best when the shape is easy to see.
Good examples:
• Person jumping
• Walking pose
• Trees, bikes, buildings
Avoid crowded backgrounds.
When using phone camera:
Just tap on the bright sky on screen.
The subject will automatically turn dark — that’s your silhouette.
If your photo still looks bright:
Slide the exposure down slightly.
This makes the silhouette more sharp and dramatic.
Don’t just stand and click.
Try:
• Low angle shots
• Side poses
• Wide background view
This makes photos look more cinematic.
Best silhouettes come during golden hour — just before sunset.
The sky colours make the photo look amazing without editing.
Remember this line:
👉 Bright background + dark subject = Perfect silhouette.
That’s it! Super easy 😄
Hope these tips help you click some awesome silhouette shots, Questers.
