     Google had launched the global rewards program - Google Play Points, in India. It's free to join and allows users to earn points and rewards on purchases made using the Google Play Store. This new reward program helps users earn Play Points using the Google Play Store. These points can now be redeemed for in-app purchases, apps, games, and subscriptions.

What are Google Play Points?

     Google Play Points is a rewards program where you earn points on everything you buy with Google Play, including in-app purchases. You can redeem your points for in-game items, discounts, or Google Play Credit. You can also use points to support a good cause.

Google Play Points have four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each level offers different perks and prizes to users. The level depends upon how many points users have collected.

How Play Points works

       Google Play Points offer points to users on their purchases made on Google Play, which include apps, in-app purchases, and more. Apart from that, users can also earn points by trying free featured apps and games. Google Play has also partnered with developers of popular apps and games across the world to help users redeem their points for special in-app items.

In India, the company has partnered with over 30 titles that include games from global studios such as Miniclip, TG Inc., and popular apps such as Truecaller and Wysa. These points can be redeemed for special in-app items offered by developers and Google Play Credit, which can be used to buy new games and apps, rent movies, buy subscriptions, and more. 

Truecaller Premium can be used for a year with 5300 Play Points.

To join the program, just tap your profile icon of Google Play Store on the top right, then tap Play Points.
