Not a ton of new Winds and Waves Pokémon were shown during the Feb. 27 reveal of Pokémon Winds and Waves, but The Pokémon Company did provide a glimpse at some in teasing the 2027 release. Key here, of course, are the trio of starters, who are the first of likely many new Pokémon that'll be revealed in the lead-up to Winds and Waves.

Below, see a list of all new Winds and Waves Pokémon announced so far. As more Pokémon are announced in the next year and change, we'll continue to update this post with every new Pokémon debuting in Pokémon Winds and Waves.

Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu

The Wind and Waves announcement trailer also showed off two new versions of Pikachu, Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu, who look like they could be guests on Pokémon Concierge. Details are light on who Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu are exactly, with the Pokémon site only saying, "We’ll have to wait a bit longer to learn how Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu will be involved in the adventure."

As the Pokémon games love nothing if not exclusives, don't be surprised is Mr. Windychu is exclusive to Pokémon Winds while Ms. Wavychu only pops up in Pokémon Waves. We don't have concrete details yet, so this is only speculation on our part, however.

Pokémon Winds and Waves Pokédex

As of this writing, the starter trio and Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu are the only new Pokémon revealed so far for Pokémon Winds and Waves. The games will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2027, so expect more new Pokémon to be revealed occasionally in the lead up to the launch of Generation 10.
