Introduction

The Statue of Unity is the tallest statue in the world. It is a grand monument built in honor of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who played an important role in uniting India after independence.The statue stands near the Narmada River in Kevadia, Gujarat.

Height and Construction

The Statue of Unity has a height of 182 meters, making it the tallest statue in the world. It was inaugurated on 31 October 2018, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The project was built to honor Patel’s contribution as the “Iron Man of India.”
