As You know, I have been using the iQOO 15R for the past few days, and today I am sharing my first impressions of this phone. I tested it in daily usage, including performance, camera, battery, and display. This will be a completely honest first impression based on my real experience with the device no hype, just genuine thoughts.

Variant

I am using the top variant with 512GB storage and 12GB RAM. It also supports 12GB virtual RAM, so effectively you get 12+12GB RAM.

Display

The 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display looks really sharp and vibrant. Colors are punchy and the high refresh rate 144 Hz makes scrolling and animations feel very smooth.

Design & Build Quality

The phone feels solid in hand. The metal frame and glass back give it a premium look, and the size is quite comfortable to hold.

Performance

The phone feels fast because it uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Performance feels very fast in daily use. Apps open quickly, multitasking is smooth, and even heavy games run without noticeable lag.

Camera

On the back, the phone comes with a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main camera with OIS, along with an 8MP secondary sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera. In daylight, the main camera captures clear and detailed photos, and images look sharp and natural. The OIS also helps keep videos stable, so recording looks smooth without much shake.

Battery Life

Battery backup is impressive. thanks to the 7600 mAh battery. It can easily last a full day with normal usage. It easily delivers 11+ hours of SOT.

Fast charging is a big plus. It supports 100W wired fast charging, so the phone charges very quickly.

The stereo speakers are loud and clear. Watching videos or playing games feels more immersive.

Overall First Impression

After using the phone for a few days, my first impression is positive. The phone feels fast and powerful in daily use, whether you are scrolling, watching videos, or playing games. Everything runs smoothly without lag.

The build quality also feels solid and premium in hand, so the phone does not feel cheap at all. The design, performance, and overall experience make it feel like a well-balanced device for everyday use.
