Hello iQOO Fam!
Got my hands on the brand-new iQOO Z11x 5G — iQOO's latest mid-ranger smartphone, built for Gen Z. The generation that uses their phone for literally everything — notes, presentations, gaming, shooting and editing videos, and still needs battery at midnight. This phone is clearly built with that in mind. Big thanks to the @iQOO Connect team for the review unit!
Full confession — I was hoping for the Prismatic Green, but the Titan Black had other plans. And honestly? Not complaining. The shiny finish looks premium, and when light hits it at an angle, it radiates a gorgeous blue tint that makes it look far pricier than it is. The phone also comes with a pre-applied screen protector out of the box.
The screen grows from 6.72" on the Z10x to 6.76" FHD+ at 120Hz, and more noticeably, peak brightness jumps from 1050 nits to 1200 nits — a meaningful bump for outdoor use. Tested a 4K YouTube video and it handled it smoothly — crisp, no hiccups.
Power button and volume rockers on the right, dual SIM slot on the left, USB Type-C with speaker grille at the bottom, and the IR blaster on top — handy for controlling your TV and AC without a separate remote.
And the durability story is a big step up — from IP64 on the Z10x to IP68 + IP69 here, paired with the same military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification. This phone is built to survive student life, spills and all.
Boots straight into OriginOS 6 on Android 16 — an upgrade from FuntouchOS 15 on the Z10x — and it shows. The UI feels more refined and snappy on the 8GB + 256GB variant right out of the box.
Under the hood, the Dimensity 7400 Turbo replaces the Dimensity 7300. Day-to-day usage felt smooth — no lag, quick app launches, multitasking handled well.
The biggest upgrade of the lot — the front camera leaps from 8MP to 32MP, now with 4K video recording. For Gen Z who lives on reels, video calls, and content creation, this alone is a compelling reason to upgrade. On the back, the 50MP shooter now packs a Sony IMX852 sensor. Full camera test coming in the review.
Stereo setup sounds solid for this segment. The 200% volume booster is a great touch — no Bluetooth speaker needed for that dorm room movie night.
Goes from 6500mAh on the Z10x to a massive 7200mAh — iQOO claims it's the segment's biggest battery, and the numbers back it up: 15.4 hrs of BGMI gaming, 40 hrs of video playback, and 51 hrs of 4G calls. The Super Battery Saver Mode squeezes 36 minutes of calls from just 1%, and Reverse Charging lets you share over 5000mAh with a friend — instant hero at every college outing. 🔋 Still paired with 44W fast charging, charger in the box. Full SOT tests coming in the review!
The iQOO Z11X 5G comes in Titan Black and Prismatic Green colors. Pricing as follows:
