Qualcomm has announced its next generation of connectivity and mobile processing technologies, including Wi-Fi 8 platforms, the Qualcomm X105 5G Modem‑RF, and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset.

The new FastConnect 8800 Mobile Connectivity System supports Wi‑Fi 8 with speeds over 10 Gbps, improved wireless range, and support for Bluetooth 7 and Ultra-Wideband. Meanwhile, the X105 modem is built for 3GPP Release 19, enabling future 5G-Advanced networks with download speeds up to 14.8 Gbps.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 also brings a custom Qualcomm Oryon CPU and powerful AI capabilities, already powering devices like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
