Day 1 of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026 Grand Finals took place on March 27.

Team Soul, led by Nakul, came out on top in the overall leaderboard with 66 points and one Chicken Dinner. GodLike Esports acquired second place with 63 points and two Chicken Dinners. Victores Sumus and Wyld Fangs were third and fourth, with 57 and 55 points, respectively. other in six games. Genesis Esports came fifth with 54 points. Vasista and Reckoning scored 48 and 42 points, respectively. Revenant XSpark had an average run on Day 1 of the BGIS Finals as they finished eighth with 35 points. Orangutan and Meta Ninza ranked ninth and 10th, with 28 and 26 points, respectively.

K9 and Myth accumulated 24 points each. Team Tamilas and LEFP ranked 14th and 15th, with 20 and 16 points, respectively. Nebula Esports, led by Aadi, had a poor start to the finals, ending up in the last spot with only 14 points.

Day 1 summary of BGIS 2026 Grand Finals

Match 1 - Rondo

Wyld Fangs clinched a huge 29-point Chicken Dinner in the first match of the Grand Finals. Revenant XSpark earned 21 points, while Orangutan and Team Soul earned 17 and 15 points, respectively. Victores Sumus accumulated 13 points during this match.

Match 2 - Erangel

Team Soul emerged victorious in the second encounter of the BGIS 2026 finale with 20 points. Genesis and Reckoning secured 12 and 11 points, respectively. Team Tamilas, GodLike, and Meta Ninza earned seven points each. Orangutan and K9 failed to score any points this match.

Match 3 - Erangel

GodLike Esports registered its first Chicken Dinner of the BGIS finale with 20 points in the third match. The team's BGMI stars, Jonathan and Spower, took three kills each. Myth and Reckoning managed 10 points each. Welt claimed eight crucial points.

Match 4 - Erangel

Vasista Esports grabbed a brilliant 22-point Chicken Dinner in Match 4 of the finals. Genesis Esports played aggressively and achieved 19 points, including 17 kills. Reckoning and Victores Sumus claimed 12 and 11 points respectively. K9 Esports garnered eight points.

Match 5 - Miramar

GodLike Esports acquired its second Chicken Dinner of the BGIS Grand Finals with 23 points. Jonathan from the team alone grabbed eight eliminations. Victores Sumus and Wyld Fangs accumulated 14 points each. Genesis Esports scored 13 points, including nine kills.

Match 6 - Miramar

Victores Sumus secured a 13-point win in the last game of the day. Team Soul played aggressively and accumulated 19 points. Vasista Esports added 14 points to its tally. Orangutan and Wyld Fangs earned eight and seven points, respectively, in this match.
