Hello iQOO Fam! 👋
It's been 20 days since I started using the iQOO Z11x. And the one question I keep getting is — does it still feel as smooth as day one, or has it started showing cracks? Let me give you an honest answer.
Short answer: yes. No lag, no stutters, no app reload drama. Even with my usual mix of Teams, Chrome, Instagram, Spotify, and WhatsApp running together, the Z11x doesn't miss a beat.
One thing I set up from day one — Extended RAM. My unit has 8GB RAM, and I've expanded it with an additional 8GB of Dynamic RAM using storage, giving me an effective 16GB to work with. This keeps apps alive in the background longer and makes switching between them noticeably smoother. If you haven't enabled this yet, head to Settings > RAM & Storage > Extended RAM.
I checked my RAM usage after a heavy multitasking session and the phone was managing memory cleanly — apps I had left open were still in memory, not reloaded from scratch when I switched back. 20 days in and the experience hasn't degraded one bit.
This is where the Z11x genuinely impresses. With my daily usage — calls, social media, browsing, some gaming, and occasional content creation — I'm easily stretching this to two full days on a single charge. I charge it every other night. That's it.
The 7200mAh battery isn't just a spec on paper. It's something you feel every single day when you reach the end of the day with 40-50% still left. There's a certain confidence that comes with knowing your phone won't die on you — the Z11x gives you that.
No uncomfortable heating during regular use. But I wanted to push it harder with two real stress tests.
The Dimensity 7400 Turbo handled both these demanding workloads without breaking a sweat. For a budget device, this level of sustained performance and thermal management is genuinely impressive — and gives me real confidence in its long-term reliability.
Over the past 20 days, I found myself shooting a lot of videos — 4K clips of everyday moments, testing the camera, capturing bits here and there. That's when I stumbled into the Native Albums app properly for the first time. And honestly, I wasn't expecting much from a built-in app on a budget phone. I was wrong.
What started as a casual explore turned into a genuine workflow. The Z11x records 4K videos in H.265 (High Efficiency) codec — smaller file sizes without sacrificing quality. Smart choice for anyone who shoots a lot.
I tried exporting a 4K clip downscaled to 1080p directly from the Albums app. Done in under a minute. For a demanding transcode task on a budget phone, that speaks to how well the chipset handles real workloads beyond just benchmarks.
The Pro editing tools cover audio editing, trimming, filters, pre-built themes, and text overlays — all natively, without downloading a single third-party app.
But two features stood out above everything else:
After 20 days of usage, these are my standout things about the device:
The iQOO Z11x at 20 days feels exactly like it did on day one — and that says a lot about the overall optimisation. If you're considering buying it, don't overthink it. It's a reliable, well-rounded device that keeps getting better the more you explore it.
