iQOO’s first phone with a battery over 9,000mAh, the iQOO Z11, could be making its way outside of China soon, as hinted by certain global certification websites. The smartphone also happens to be the brand’s first device to feature a screen refresh rate of up to 165Hz, enabling smooth frames in supported games. Now, whether all of these niceties will make their way to India, find out below:

iQOO Z11 spotted on Indonesia and Thailand’s certification websites

While the iQOO Z11 was launched in China in late March, the device’s listing has been found on the Indonesian SDPPI certification website, an authority that provides approval to telecommunication and IT equipment to launch in the country. Coming with the model number I2512, the iQOO Z11 has also received certification from Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), the regulatory body that oversees the country’s telecommunications industry.

While all these international certifications indicate a global launch soon, the iQOO Z11 is yet to emerge on Indian-based certification listings. Taking this into consideration, either the smartphone’s India launch has been delayed to make way for other iQOO and possibly Vivo devices, such as the upcoming Vivo T5 Pro, or its release has been put entirely on hold for now.

Key iQOO Z11 specifications worth noting

The iQOO Z11 is positioned as an upper high-end performance-focused smartphone in China, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor. Launched at a starting price of CNY 2,499 for the 12GB + 256GB storage variant, the chipset is paired with a 7K Ice Dome VC Liquid Cooling system for extensive thermal efficiency.

Up front, the iQOO Z11 sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a higher 165Hz refresh rate. The display also supports 300Hz touch sampling rate, HDR support, and 100 percent DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. The camera system remains modest with a 50MP primary and 2MP secondary setup on the rear, while the front features a 16MP camera. The star of the show remains the 9,020mAh battery, which supports 90W charging.

In India, the only phone available with the Dimensity 8500 currently is the POCO XI Pro. So, if the iQOO Z11 happens to launch here, it’ll most likely be priced above the Rs 30,000 segment to rival the POCO X8 Pro, and other upcoming launches, such as the OPPO K15 Pro.
