🔰The 170-Day Journey🔰

The excitement is quieter, but the experience is clearer.

What starts as a new device slowly becomes part of your routine — used without thinking, relied on without noticing, tested without intention. And somewhere in that transition, the real story begins.

💬 My Experience

Over time, patterns form. Expectations change. And the phone either keeps up… or falls behind.

170 days later, the answer was clear.

⚙️ Unboxing, First Setup & Transition

The initial setup defines how quickly you connect with a new device.

🔧 Specs Context

  • EasyShare / device cloning support
  • Android ecosystem integration

💬 My Experience

After the first charge, the setup was simple. Since I was coming from the Z5, everything felt familiar and smooth. Transferring data through EasyShare was quick, and within minutes, everything was in place.

  • No learning curve
  • Smooth and hassle-free transition

🔷 Design & Build Quality

Design is the first thing that creates an impression — and this one stands out.

✨ Specs

  • Thickness: 7.9mm
  • Weight: 196g
  • Build: Polycarbonate frame & back
  • Protection: IP65 dust & splash resistance

💬 My Experience

The first thing anyone notices is the design. The Raging Blue back panel really stands out and feels unique. Despite the massive battery, the weight distribution is excellent, which makes it feel surprisingly light in hand.

People around me often ask how it feels so lightweight, and that says a lot. The IP65 rating is enough for daily situations — not to survive water, but enough to survive till the end of the game 😄

  • Unique and eye-catching design
  • Very comfortable for long usage
  • Lightweight feel is a big plus

What It Misses: A premium glass or metal build could elevate the feel further.

📺 Display

The display plays a huge role in daily usage, from gaming to binge-watching.

🔍 Specs

  • Size: 6.78-inch
  • Resolution: 1.5K (approx. 2800 × 1260)
  • Panel: AMOLED, flat display
  • Refresh Rate: 144Hz
  • HDR: HDR10+ certified
  • Protection: Schott Xensation Up

💬 My Experience

At first, the display felt slightly big, but I got used to it quickly. Once you do, the 144Hz refresh rate completely changes the experience — everything feels smooth, crisp, and sharp. I've spent a lot of time binge-watching movies, web series, and anime, and the HDR10+ support on Netflix really makes a difference.

  • Smooth scrolling and gameplay
  • Sharp and vibrant visuals
  • Great for long content sessions

What It Misses: Slightly better outdoor brightness would improve usability in harsh sunlight.

🔊 Sound

Good audio adds depth to both entertainment and gaming.

🔈 Specs

  • Dual stereo speakers
  • Hi-Res audio support (wired/wireless)

💬 My Experience

The stereo speakers deliver clear and balanced sound. It's not extremely loud, but the separation is good enough to make gaming and content consumption immersive.

  • Clean and balanced output
  • Works well for both gaming and media

What It Misses: Higher peak volume would make it more impactful.

🔋 Battery & Charging

Battery life is where consistency matters the most.

🔥 Specs

  • Capacity: 6400mAh
  • Charging: 80W FlashCharge
  • Charging time: ~40–50 minutes

💬 My Experience

Battery is one thing I never have to worry about. In the initial days, I got around 7 hours of screen-on time, and after tweaking a few settings like lower resolution, adaptive brightness, scheduled restart, and limiting charging to 80%, it improved even more. Now, I usually charge it at night and it comfortably lasts till the next night — even with some gaming. And when needed, the fast charging quickly gets it back to full.

  • Reliable all-day battery
  • Optimization made a noticeable difference
  • Fast charging is very convenient

🧠 OS & Updates

Software experience defines how the phone evolves over time.

📱 Specs

  • OS: Android 15 → upgraded to Android 16
  • UI: Funtouch OS 15 → OriginOS 6
  • Updates: 3 years OS + 4 years security

💬 My Experience

Since I was already familiar with the OS from the Z5, it felt comfortable initially. But the OriginOS 6 update completely changed the experience. It honestly felt like a “before vs after” transformation — smoother performance, better design, and more modern UI. Features like Origin Island are useful, and tools like Snap-up engine help in real scenarios.

The highlight is definitely Flip Cards — every time someone sees my phone, they ask about it.

  • Feels like a completely new UI after update
  • Smooth and visually appealing
  • Flip Cards are the biggest attention point

What It Misses: Slight reduction in pre-installed apps would improve the experience.

📸 Camera

Cameras are about capturing moments with consistency.

📷 Specs

  • Main: 50MP (Sony sensor, OIS)
  • Ultra-wide: 8MP
  • Front: 32MP
  • Video: Up to 4K recording

💬 My Experience

The camera performs well overall, but portrait mode is where it stands out the most. The edge detection is clean, and the output looks natural.

The different styles like vivid, natural, and textured give flexibility, and night mode has been reliable in most situations.

  • Strong portrait performance
  • Flexible shooting styles
  • Good low-light consistency

What It Misses: Ultra-wide camera could be sharper and more consistent.

📡 Extras

Extra features quietly add value to daily usage.

🔗 Specs

  • WiFi 6
  • Bluetooth V5.4
  • IR Blaster
Figure 22, view larger image

💬 My Experience

All essential connectivity features are present, but the IR blaster is the fun part. It's surprisingly useful in situations like controlling projectors in college — just don't get caught 😄

  • Practical and fun feature
  • Adds unexpected usability

What It Misses: No NFC & proximity sensor which feels like a gap even in this segment

🎮 Performance & Gaming

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3(flagship-grade)
  • GPU: Adreno GPU
  • RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X

💬 My Experience

This is where the phone truly shines. I tested multiple games like Free Fire, BGMI, COD, and Genshin Impact, and the performance stayed consistently smooth. There were no major frame drops, especially in competitive games. The 120FPS gameplay feels fluid, and the 4D vibration from the X-axis motor adds a nice tactile feedback. When you combine the display, battery, haptics, and sound, the overall gaming experience feels complete.

  • Handles all major games smoothly
  • Stable performance with no major issues
  • One of the best gaming experiences in this segment

What It Misses: Being a gaming centric mobile it misses that 3.5mm headphone jack.

🏁 Final Verdict

✅ What Stands Out

  • Lightweight yet powerful
  • Excellent battery life
  • Smooth gaming performance
  • Unique software experience

💭 Overall Experience

After 6 months, the phone feels consistent, reliable, and powerful in everyday usage.
