With the new iQOO 15R making waves, I know a lot of you have been asking about that massive 7,600mAh 4th-Gen Silicon Anode battery. We already know it's an absolute marathon runner for gaming and media, but how fast does a battery this big actually take to charge up?
I grabbed the bundled 100W FlashCharge brick and the original cable & plugged in the iQOO 15R at 0%… looked away for a few minutes… and BOOM 💥
• ⚡ After 5 minutes
• ⚡After 15 minutes
• ⚡After 30 minutes
• ⚡After 45 minutes
• ⚡After 60 minutes / 1 hr -
• ⚡After 75 minutes
• ⚡Fully charged 🔋
One of the most impressive parts of this test wasn't just the speed, but the thermals. Charging a 7,600mAh cell at 100W usually turns a phone into a toaster, but the 6500mm² Vapour Chember cooling system did its job perfectly. The phone got slightly warm around the 30-minute mark but stayed completely comfortable to hold.
For the gamers out there, Bypass Charging is also working flawlessly. If you plug in while grinding BGMI or Genshen, it powers the motherboard directly without heating up the battery, protecting your battery health in the long run.
Forgot to charge overnight? No worries!
Just plug in for 10–15 minutes, and you're good for hours 😎
What do you guys think of these charging speeds? Have any of you tested your iQOO 15R yet? Let's discuss in the comments below!
