Google has officially broken ground on its largest digital infrastructure project in India — a gigawatt-scale AI hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Built in partnership with AdaniConneX and Nxtra by Airtel, this is just the beginning of a $15 billion investment planned between 2026 and 2030.

What's being built:

• Three data center campuses — India's first gigawatt-scale AI hub
• America-India Connect fiber-optic network for better global digital connectivity
• Clean energy integration supporting India's 500 GW non-fossil fuel goal by 2030

• 🎣 GPS and weather tools for 1,000+ fishermen
• 👩‍💼 NARI Shakti program supporting 10,000+ women-led enterprises
• 🎓 Cloud and AI training for 1,200+ students and educators
• 👷 STAR program training 1,000 local workers in construction and facility operations
