Hi iQOO Fam! ❤️ I am back with another interesting thread....

When someone spends flagship money, they aren't just buying a spec sheet. Premium users in 2026 usually look for a complete experience:

  • Confident cameras
  • A rich, comfortable display
  • Mature software with long-term updates
  • Strong battery + fast charging
  • And in India, a good offline buying and support journey too.

iQOO Number Series Growing into True Flagships

You can see iQOO chasing this full package through its number series – 11, 12, 13 and now 15.

  • iQOO 11 marked the first big step into real flagship territory with a 2K 144 Hz E6 AMOLED, premium build and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, reviewed as an “impressive flagship at a premium,” not just a gaming phone.

  • iQOO 12 added a better LTPO display, stronger cameras and 120 W charging on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, putting it straight into comparisons with established premium brands while staying aggressive on pricing.

  • iQOO 13 refined this further with a brighter 2K LTPO panel, bigger battery and triple 50 MP setup, along with multi‑year update commitments that long‑term buyers care about.

And then came iQOO 15....

iQOO 15 - The Game Changer

Launched in November 2025, iQOO 15 is basically the brand's "exam paper" for all these premium expectations. Instead of reinventing everything, iQOO picked up the successful iQOO 13 formula and deliberately ironed out the rough edges:

  • a more premium in‑hand feel, a noticeably brighter and more eye‑friendly 2K 6.85-inch (3168×1440 pixels) 2K+ Samsung M14 LTPO display
  •  a larger 7000 mAh battery with 100 W wired plus 40 W wireless charging
  • a refined triple 50 MP camera setup, including a Sony IMX882 3x Periscope setup, and,
  • a more mature OriginOS 6 experience.

iQOO 15 ticked all boxes, be it Software, Camera, Performance, Battery or Display - A perfect premiun device from iQOO

Reviews  repeatedly describe the 15 as iQOO's most “mature”, "grown‑up" flagship yet, one that can stand tall against phones like Samsung S26, OnePlus 15, and Realme GT 8 Pro on overall experience, not just gaming performance.

Do Users Actually Feel It's Premium?

Figure 7, view larger image

This isn't just reviewer talk either. On Amazon, iQOO 15 holds a strong rating, and the AI summary shows “Quality” as the most‑mentioned tag in customer feedback, followed by camera quality, performance, battery life, display and value for money. Many reviews describe it as a “top flagship device” with excellent performance and good battery, and call out display and camera quality positively.

For a phone that's been on sale since late 2025, this pattern of reviews is a good signal that iQOO's premium push around build, reliability and overall experience is actually being noticed by real users – not just reviewers.

Stepping into Offline as a Premium Brand

The final piece is where you experience iQOO. In March 2026, Reliance Digital announced that iQOO smartphones – led by the 15R – are now available across its nationwide store network, with a focus on hands‑on demos, knowledgeable staff and immersive in‑store experiences.

Recently, during a mall visit in Coimbatore, I walked into a Reliance Digital outlet and saw iQOO 15 units proudly displayed alongside other flagships – a small moment, but it genuinely felt like the brand had "arrived" in the offline premium space. I even clicked a photo of the store shelf to capture that milestone for myself.

That move from being mostly online to sharing prime offline shelf space is a big step up from iQOO’s earlier image and adds a lot of confidence for buyers who prefer seeing and testing phones before they spend flagship money.

So, in 2026, iQOO is clearly building a premium image through its evolving number series, stronger perceptions of quality and a serious offline push.

In Part 2 (read here ), we'll look at the second half of the story — how the brand is doing all this without losing its value appeal through the 15R, Z series and smart pricing strategy. 👀
