Indian clubs Revenant XSpark and S8UL qualify for HoK World Cup 2026

Two Indian teams Revenant XSpark and S8UL made it to the Honor of Kings World Cup 2026 after finishing in the top two in the India Qualifier. The World Cup 2026 is set to be held from July 30 to August 8, 2026 featuring a total of 20 teams from across the globe. For the first time ever, Indian teams will be seen playing in an International HoK tournament.

The India Qualifier kicked off on May 8 with eight teams. Revenant XSpark and S8UL have secured their places in the Grand Finals, which will be held on May 17, 2026. The remaining six teams have been eliminated from the tournament.

The Qualifiers features a total prize pool of 5,295 US dollars (5 lakh rupees) and two spots in the HoK World Cup 2026, which is a part of the Esports World Cup 2026 Riyadh. Four teams have already been eliminated from the event, and two will fight for the third place on May 17.


Three teams from the Kings’s Arise India City Qualifiers and five teams from the Open Qualifer entered the HoK World Cup 2026 India Qualifier. It is being played in Single Elimination Bracket.


In the Quarterfinals, Revenant XSpark made an astonishing start and hammered Zedi Esports in their opening encounter. After winning their first game by a scoreline of 4-0, the squad defeated their rivals resoundingly by triumphing in four rounds in a row. Deadshot, Senpai, and JTian were particularly phenomenal in this match.


Revenant XSpark then faced True Rippers in the Semifinals, with the former maintaining their consistency and winning their second encounter by a dominant 4-1 margin. With this win, the team acquired their seat in the Grand Finals as well as the World Cup 2026.

On the other side, S8UL Esports also started their campaign on a high note and outplayed Resurrection in their first encounter. The popular organisation won their first game with a 4-2 scoreline. The team then hammered another famous club, GodLike, in the Semifinals with a brilliant 4-1 scoreline.


After winning two consecutive matches, S8UL earned their spot in the Grand Finals and the World Cup. The team will now face Revenant XSpark in the finale for the title, while GodLike will play against True Rippers in the third Place match.


Stars, Resurrection, Zedi Esports, and Team 97 had a disappointing run in the India Qualifier as they failed to win a single game in the event. These four teams were eliminated from the competition. They received 265 dollars (25,000 rupees) each in prize money.
