PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026 Season 1: Dates,groups,prize pool, & format

Season 1 of the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026 will be held from June 2 to 7, 2026. This first international event of the year will take place in Indonesia, with a huge prize pool of $500,000. A total of 32 teams from across the world will collide against one another in the event for the trophy.

Krafton and Level Infinite will host a total of four global PUBG Mobile events in 2026. These include two seasons of PMGO, with each season featuring a $500,000 prize pool. A few countries, namely, China, India, Japan, and South Korea, are not included in these two international events.


Teams from these countries will be playing in the PMWC and PMGC, with each of these flagship PUBG Mobile tournaments featuring a humongous prize pool of $3 million. The publishers have already announced the structure and host cities for all the four international event of 2026.


Out of the 32 participating teams, 31 have already been confirmed for the Global Open 2026 S1. One team from the Indonesia Open will qualify for the tournament. Here are the two groups for the Group Stage:

Format

The PMGO 2026 Season 1 will be held in three phases; Group Stage, Survival, and Grand Finals. 32 teams, divided into two groups, will play six matches each in Group Stage on June 2 and 3. The top six teams from each group will advance to the Grand Finals. The seventh-to-14th-placed team from each group will move to the Survival Stage.


The remaining teams of the Group Stage will be eliminated from the PMGO S1. 16 teams (seventh to 14th from each group) will fight in the Survival Stage on June 4. The best four performers will progress to the Grand Finals, while the remaining 12 will face elimination from the Global Open 2026 S1.


12 teams from the Group Stage and four teams from the Survival Stage will battle in the Grand Finals on June 6 and 7 for the trophy. Each day of the PMGO S1 finale will feature six games. The second day of the finale will be played as per the Smash Rule. The 16 finalists will receive the PMGC Points in the event based on their rankings.
