My hands-on review of the iQOO Neo 10: Gaming and Camera deeply tested

Hey iQOO Fam,

I’ve been daily driving the iQOO Neo 10 for a while now, and instead of just dropping the spec sheet, I wanted to share how it actually performs in the real world. We all know the Neo series brings the heat for performance, but I really wanted to push its limits on gaming and see if the camera could actually keep up.

Here is my honest breakdown.

🎮 Gaming: Absolutely Relentless

I’ve been putting this phone through the wringer, especially with BGMI, and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 paired with the Q1 supercomputing chip is no joke.

• Zero Throttling: Pushing high frame rates consistently is where this phone flexes. Even during intense, prolonged BGMI sessions, the frame rate stays incredibly stable without those annoying micro-stutters during chaotic close-range fights.

• Thermal Management: The massive 7000mm² Vapor Chamber cooling system actually does its job. The phone gets warm after an hour of grinding, sure, but it never reaches a temperature where it forces the screen to dim or throttles the processor.

• The Display: The 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED screen is stunning, but it’s the 3000Hz instant touch sampling rate that seals the deal. Every input and swipe is registered immediately, which is absolutely crucial for aggressive playstyles and quick reaction times.

📸 Camera: Built for Content Creation

Gaming phones usually treat cameras as an afterthought. The Neo 10 didn’t. The 50 MP Sony IMX882 OIS main sensor punches way above its weight.

• Video Performance: When analyzing retention strategies for short-form platforms, visual quality is a massive factor in keeping viewers hooked. Both the rear and the 32 MP front cameras shoot crisp, stabilized 4K @ 60FPS. The footage comes out sharp with excellent dynamic range, making it perfect for uploading high-quality Reels or Shorts straight from the device without needing heavy post-processing.

• Portrait Photography: The edge detection is surprisingly accurate. iQOO’s algorithm does a fantastic job of retaining natural skin tones without over-softening facial details, giving a very clean, professional bokeh effect.

🔋 The 7000 mAh Elephant in the Room

The fact that iQOO managed to fit a 7000 mAh Silicon BlueVolt battery into an 8.09mm thin body weighing just 206g is pure engineering magic. It easily powers through a full day of heavy gaming, recording video, and managing brand accounts without causing any battery anxiety. When I finally need to plug it in, the 120W FlashCharge tops it up to 100% in around 36 minutes.

🏆 Final Thoughts

The iQOO Neo 10 feels like a device that finally bridged the gap. It delivers the raw, uncompromising performance needed for competitive gaming, but it doesn't sacrifice the camera quality required for digital content creation and daily use. It’s a genuine all-rounder.
