Hello Guys This is Sourav, hope you are doing extremely well and after a detailed Day 1 we headed towrads Day 2 and it was full of Water I guess.

Day 2 started before the sun was even ready.

05:30 AM alarms, half-asleep conversations, rushed packing, and somehow everyone still managed to show up excited. Because this wasn’t just another day of the trip  this was Halong Bay day.

A long drive later, the city slowly disappeared behind us and the view started changing completely. Mountains, open water, cruise docks  everything already felt unreal before we even stepped onboard.

And then came Paradise Delight Cruise.

The moment the cruise started moving, everything changed pace. Breakfast in the middle of emerald waters with giant limestone cliffs surrounding us from every direction honestly felt illegal to experience on a random weekday morning.

No noise. No chaos. Just vibes.

Our first stop was Sung Sot Cave, and pictures genuinely don’t do justice to that place. Massive cave chambers, glowing formations, giant rock structures everywhere it felt less like a tourist spot and more like entering some hidden world from a fantasy movie.

From there, we switched from walking to paddling.

Kayaks and bamboo boats took us through Luon Cave, passing under low rocky ceilings before opening into a quiet hidden lagoon surrounded by cliffs on all sides. Probably one of the calmest moments of the entire trip.

No one was even talking much there. Everyone was just taking it in.

Then came Titop Island.

Some people instantly chose violence and started climbing hundreds of steps to reach the viewpoint at the top. The view from there? Absolutely worth every drop of sweat apparently. Soft sand, cool breeze, calm water, and zero intention of doing cardio in that heat.

After a huge buffet lunch and almost an entire day of exploring, the cruise slowly started heading back. That peaceful golden-hour vibe hit differently though  everyone sitting around with tea, snacks, random conversations, laughing over photos, replaying moments from the day.

One tiny keepsake instantly turned the whole experience into a memory none of us are forgetting anytime soon.

By the time we got back to Hanoi, exhaustion had completely taken over.

But obviously, the day still wasn’t over without food.

We wrapped things up with an amazing Indian dinner at Benaras Sutra, and after an entire day of caves, kayaking, beaches, hiking, cruises, and nonstop chaos that comfort food genuinely felt therapeutic.

Safe to say, Halong Bay absolutely lived up to the hype.

And if Day 2 felt this unreal already, nobody’s ready for what comes next.

This marks the starting of our next day. See ya there ✌️
