Hey Questers,
We've all been there. A task takes 15 minutes, but somehow we postpone it for three days. We know the deadline is approaching. We know we'll eventually have to do it. Yet somehow, scrolling through social media, watching "just one more video," or finding random things to do feels much easier 😭
The truth is, procrastination isn't always about being lazy. Sometimes it's because a task feels overwhelming, boring, stressful, or simply too big to start. Our brains naturally seek comfort and instant rewards, which is why distractions often win the battle.
Now, the most important question: How do we overcome procrastination?
• Break large tasks into smaller, manageable steps
• Focus on starting rather than finishing
• Remove distractions from your environment
• Set small deadlines for yourself
• Reward yourself after completing a task
• Remember that progress is better than perfection
The next time you're putting something off, try asking yourself: "What's the smallest step I can take right now?"
You might be surprised how much easier it becomes.
Now over to you, Questers. What's the one thing you procrastinate on the most, and do you have any tricks that help you get things done? Share your thoughts in the comments!
