Hello Everyone!
Today its time for the next Tech Tidings. So let's start😊.
BharOS is based on AOSP which does not include any Google services. This BharOS which is said to benefit 100 crore smartphone users in India by offering a more secure and private mobile operating system.
Technically, BharOS is not that different from Android’s Google OS. In fact, it is based on the AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The major difference between BharOS and Google’s Android OS is the fact that BharOS does not ship with Google services, and it will be a barebone operating system, which allows users to install apps of their own interest.
Also,The good thing about this mobile operating system is that this one comes with No Default Apps (NDA). This basically means that users will get most of storage space, unlike Android.
No, the primary reason for the development of BharOS is to offer an alternative smartphone OS without the Google Play store or Google Play services, and BharOS will not support Google Play Services.
As of now, there are no details on the smartphones which would support BharOS. However, it is expected from the company to collaborate with some Android OEMs to develop smartphones with BharOS in near future. It is said that the operating system is compatible with Google Pixel devices but the makers of the system have not confirmed the exact device models that support the BharOS.
