Hope you all had an awesome time at the event! We here in Chennai had a pretty great time spending the day with fellow Questers and tech enthusiasts. A big thanks to iQOO for bringing the iQOO Z11 Sneak Peek Event and TechQuest to Chennai. ❤️

It was a day filled with product experiences, fun activities, learning, building, and, most importantly, some memorable community moments.

First Half — iQOO Z11 Sneak Peek

It was iQOO Z11 Sneak Peek Day in Chennai! The registrations were full-on, the venue at Residency Towers, Chennai, was all set, and the energy among the Questers was already high. 😍🤩

Before the product introduction, the Chennai crowd absolutely lit up the iQOO Got Latent segment! 😄🥳

One Quester sang a beautiful Tamil song, another danced to the popular Pavazhamalli song, and then came a surprise from iQOO Z Series Product Manager Om Aadharsh, who entertained the crowd with his singing. That was definitely one of the unexpected highlights of the event! 👏

Then came the moment we were waiting for — the iQOO Z11 introduction and product overview, followed by hands-on time with the device and interactions with the iQOO team.

One interesting insight came from Om Aadharsh, who shared how the Z11 was developed keeping college students in mind. He said:

“The iQOO Z11 is designed with college students in mind. We conducted IDIs across more than 20 colleges across India to understand their pain points and student expectations,” says, Om Aadharsh, iQOO Z Series Product Manager 

It was interesting to hear how direct conversations with students were used to understand what they actually expect from a smartphone and what challenges they face in their everyday usage.

We then got some hands-on time with the iQOO Z11, along with plenty of interactions and discussions around the device. For me, it was great to see so many tech enthusiasts come together, share their thoughts, and experience the phone firsthand. 📱🔥

The iQOO Service Camp was also available at the venue, offering complimentary device care for Questers.

And, of course, we couldn't finish the first half without the Questers' favourite — the Lucky Draw! 🎁

Lucky winners walked away with exclusive iQOO goodies and Amazon vouchers worth up to ₹15,000. Definitely an exciting way to wrap up the first half! 😍

Second Half — TechQuest

The second half shifted from exploring a new smartphone to learning, problem-solving, and building.

We had an AI and GitHub Fundamentals Masterclass conducted with Reskill Experts.

Microsoft-certified Lead Data Scientist Bhargavi took us through GitHub Fundamentals, giving participants a practical understanding of GitHub and how it can be used in development workflows.

We also had an interactive session with Mr. Shangeeth Sivan, an Android Developer, who spoke about problem-solving and AI-based app development. The session was particularly interesting for students looking to explore Android development and AI. 💻🤖

Time to Build & Solve Problems 

Then came the most exciting part — Time to Build!

The shortlisted teams got hands-on with the iQOO Z11 and participated in a hackathon where they worked on solving a problem by building an Android application.

It was great to see students take what they had learned and turn those ideas into something tangible. The venue became increasingly energetic as the teams worked on their ideas, solved problems, and brought their apps to life.

Finally, the winners of TechQuest were recognised with exclusive certificates and specially curated iQOO goodies for students. 🏆🎓

Overall, Chennai had a fantastic day!

From the excitement around the iQOO Z11 and the fun performances to the product interactions, lucky draws, technical masterclasses, and hands-on hackathon, the event had something for everyone.
