What's up everyone!
Superb Qool Quester is back. The iQOO Z11 has launched, and after spending some time with the iQOO Z11, I wanted to share my first impressions of something that immediately caught my attention the 3D curved display.
I've been using the phone in different situations, from the bright Chennai sunlight to late-night scrolling before sleep, and the display has genuinely impressed me. So, without wasting any time, let's get started.
Sleek in Hand, Bold on Screen
The first thing I noticed when I picked up the iQOO Z11 was the way the 3D curved display blends with the body.
The curved edges give the phone a sleek appearance and make the overall design feel more premium.
At around 7.99mm slim, the phone is comfortable to hold despite having a large 6.83-inch display. For me, the experience can be summed up in one line:
Slim in hand, big on screen.
What Makes me to feel iQOO Z11 3D Curved Display Different?
The 3D curved display isn't just about the appearance.
The curved edges flow naturally towards the frame, making side swipes feel smoother and more effortless. When navigating through the UI, moving from one side to another feels very natural.
And while watching content, the curved edges add to the sense of immersion, making the display feel like it extends beyond the flat front panel.
That's something I personally enjoyed during my usage.
1.5K AMOLED Makes the Difference
The iQOO Z11 comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
As someone who watches a lot of YouTube, Netflix and other OTT content, this combination is something I really appreciate.
The 1.5K resolution provides good sharpness, while the AMOLED panel delivers deep blacks, vibrant colours and strong contrast.
When watching compatible HDR content, the display looks even more impressive. For me, this is where the 3D curved display and AMOLED panel work really well together.
My Chennai Sunlight Test
Living in Chennai means the display gets a proper outdoor test almost every day.
Especially during the afternoon, sunlight can make smartphone displays difficult to see.The iQOO Z11 offers up to 2000 nits HBM brightness and up to 3000 nits local peak brightness. In my experience, the display has been bright enough for comfortable outdoor usage, whether I'm checking messages, browsing, using navigation or simply looking at photos.
The display also comes with SGS-certified display features designed to improve viewing comfort. For me, good outdoor visibility is not just a specification. It's something I notice every day.
144Hz Makes Everything Feel Smooth
The 144Hz refresh rate is another part of the experience that complements the curved display.
Scrolling through the UI, switching between apps and browsing content all feel smooth and fluid.
The combination of the high refresh rate and curved edges makes interactions feel more effortless.
It's one of those things that becomes difficult to go back from once you've experienced it.Im using the Top variant with UHD resolution.
The Display for Entertainment
I'm particularly interested in smartphone displays because I use my phone for a lot of entertainment.
YouTube, Netflix, movies, photos and social media all benefit from a good display.
The AMOLED panel's deep blacks and vibrant colours make content look punchy, while the 1.5K resolution keeps things sharp. It supports HDR10+,HDR10,HLG HDR.
The curved display adds that extra immersive feeling, especially when watching movies and other full-screen content. For me, this is where the Z11's display really stands out.
The Punch-Hole Doesn't Distract Me
The front camera sits inside a small punch-hole at the top of the display.
Personally, I don't find it distracting during everyday usage. When watching content, my attention stays on the screen, and while navigating the UI, I barely notice it.
Combined with the narrow bezels and 93.82% screen-to-body ratio, the display has a very clean look.
My First Impression
After spending time with the iQOO Z11, my first impression of the 1.5k resolution 3D curved display is very positive. What I like most is that it isn't just a design feature. The curved edges contribute to the way the phone feels in the hand, the way I interact with the UI and the overall experience of watching content.
Add the 1.5K AMOLED panel, 144Hz refresh rate, high brightness and large 6.83-inch screen, and you get a display that I personally enjoy using every day.
For someone looking for a smartphone with a large AMOLED display, smooth scrolling and a 3D curved design, the iQOO Z11 definitely caught my attention.
This is my experience and my first impression of the iQOO Z11 3D curved display.
Now I want to hear from you guys.
