Pokemon UNITE World Championship 2026:Winner,prize pool distribution, & summary

Zeta Division emerged victorious in the Pokemon UNITE World Championship 2026, held in San Francisco from August 28 to 30, 2026. The Japanese club displayed stunning gameplay throughout the event and lifted the coveted trophy. The team, who were runners-up in the previous edition, hammered European team KOMAI in the Grand Finals to win a cash prize of $100,000.

The Pokemon UNITE World Championship 2026 featured 29 teams from around the world and a huge prize pool of $500,000. These teams, divided into eight groups, participated in the Group Stage. The top two teams from each group, a total of 16 teams, moved to the Playoffs. The remaining 13 teams were eliminated from the World Championship 2026.


16 teams competed in a single bracket in the Playoffs. The Grand Finals and Semifinals were held in best-of-five (Bo5) matches. The remaining matches were played in Bo3 in the Playoffs. These 16 teams received a share of the total prize pool.

Zeta Division made a great start to the Pokemon UNITE event and won both their Group Stage matches. They ranked first in Group H and made it to the Playoffs. The Japanese club kept up their impressive run in the Playoffs and defeated FENNEL in the first game 2-1.


The team then outclassed Evil Geniuses in the Quarterfinals by 2-1. Zeta Division beat IGZIST in an intense Semifinal match 3-2 to secure their seat in the Grand Finals.


On the other hand, KOMAI too had a fantastic start to the Group Stage, as the side ranked first in Group G after winning all three of their encounters. In the Playoffs, they defeated STMN in their first game by 2-0 and outplayed Team CC in the Quarterfinals 2-1. Then, in the Semifinals, they hammered Grêmio to qualify for the Grand Finals.


In the Grand Finals, Zeta Division beat KOMAI by a score of 3-1 to win the Pokemon UNITE World Championship 2026. KOMAI stumbled in this crucial encounter and ended up second. IGZIST and Grêmio finished third and fourth, respectively.
