🎮 iQOO Z11 × Call of Duty Mobile Battle Royale Gameplay Test

After testing Call of Duty Mobile multiplayer on the iQOO Z11 it was time to put the Dimensity 7500 through a full Battle Royale match.

Battle Royale is more demanding than regular multiplayer since there is a much larger map with more players and more things happening at the same time. So this is a good way to see how well the Z11 holds up during a longer and heavier session.

🎮 Gameplay Performance

For this test I'm using Medium graphics with the frame rate set to Max.

Just like multiplayer the maximum available frame rate for Battle Royale on the Z11 is 60 FPS.

After playing through a full match the Z11 handled the game extremely well. There were no major performance issues and the Dimensity 7500 maintained a very smooth experience throughout the match.

✅ Almost locked 60 FPS experience

✅ 59.4 FPS average

✅ Smooth Battle Royale gameplay

✅ Responsive controls

✅ No noticeable lag

✅ Plenty of performance headroom

📊 Real FPS Data

After completing a full Battle Royale match the average FPS came out to 59.4 FPS.

That's extremely close to the 60 FPS target and shows that the Dimensity 7500 has no real trouble maintaining high frame rates in CODM even during a longer and more demanding Battle Royale session.

Based on this test I'd even say there's enough performance headroom to increase the graphics settings while still maintaining a stable 60 FPS.

⚙️ Optimal Settings

Figure 6, view larger image

Medium graphics with Max frame rate already provides an excellent experience but the Z11 clearly has more performance available.

Since the average FPS was 59.4 during a full Battle Royale match the Dimensity 7500 isn't being pushed particularly hard by CODM at these settings.

If you prefer better visual quality over lower temperatures or power consumption you can probably increase the graphics settings and still maintain a stable 60 FPS experience.

🔋 Power Consumption

Figure 8, view larger image

The average power draw during the full Battle Royale test was just 3.69W.

That's actually slightly lower than the power draw from the multiplayer test while still maintaining an average of 59.4 FPS.

The Dimensity 7500 clearly doesn't need to consume a lot of power to handle CODM smoothly.

🧊 Heating

The Z11 also stayed impressively cool throughout the match.

The maximum temperature recorded was just 34.4°C.

For a full Battle Royale session that's a very comfortable temperature and shows that the phone isn't struggling thermally with CODM.

🏁 Final Thoughts

Figure 10, view larger image

After testing both Multiplayer and Battle Royale I think it's safe to say that Call of Duty Mobile simply isn't a challenge for the iQOO Z11.

A full Battle Royale match at Medium graphics and Max frame rate resulted in an average of 59.4 FPS with just 3.69W average power draw and a maximum temperature of only 34.4°C.

There is clearly some performance headroom left here too. I would even go as far as saying that you can increase the graphics settings and still expect a stable 60 FPS experience.

The Dimensity 7500 may be a budget focused chipset but for CODM it has absolutely no trouble delivering a smooth competitive gaming experience. 🎮
