Cash can be withdrawn from an ATM without a card, if accompanied by a smartphone; Know the simple method.

No problem – especially in our busy lives we tend to accidentally do things that cause us to suffer minor discomforts. For example, there are times when we go out but we don't have enough cash; Meanwhile, there is no debit card or credit card. At this time, it is natural to be confused and worried. Now you say, it is the era of UPI or online payment, starting from shops and markets to auto rickshaws, payments can be made through smartphones and the Internet, so what to worry about? In that case, let's say that UPI payment facility is not available somewhere, transaction is only cash. So what to do? Let's find out the way of that difficult situation now.


With UPI, money can be withdrawn from ATMs

Although UPI payments are not accepted everywhere, you can withdraw money from ATMs through UPI if needed. In fact, there is currently a facility called Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal or ICCW that allows cash withdrawals from ATMs without a card. This facility is available on ATM services of State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), HDFC Bank and some other banks. And those interested can use other apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm to withdraw money in a few simple steps.


How to withdraw cash from ATM using UPI?

1. To withdraw cash from an ATM using UPI, first approach an ATM machine and tap on the 'Cash Withdrawal' option displayed on the screen.


2. Then select the UPI option.


3. In this case, a QR code will be displayed on the ATM screen. Open any UPI app on the phone and scan that code from the ATM machine.


4. In the next step enter the amount you want to withdraw. Remember you can withdraw cash up to 5 thousand in this method.


5. Enter the amount and then enter your UPI PIN and click on 'Proceed' option. In this you can collect cash from ATM machine.
