iQOO OriginOS 7 Release Dates and Eligible Phones

The iQOO OriginOS 7 release dates for India were shared by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya on X. The rollout will begin with the iQOO 15 by the end of October 2026 and continue until February 2027, covering smartphones across the flagship, Neo, and Z series.

Here's the complete rundown:

As the above schedule shows, the iQOO 15 will be the first smartphone on the list to receive OriginOS 7, with the update expected to arrive by the end of October. The iQOO 15R and iQOO 13 will follow in mid-November, while the iQOO 12, iQOO Neo 10, and iQOO Neo 10R are scheduled for mid-December.

Meanwhile, owners of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro and the listed Z series smartphones will have to wait until early 2027. Six iQOO phones are scheduled to receive the update by the end of January, while the iQOO Z10x 5G is expected to get it in the final phase by the end of February.

These are planned rollout windows rather than exact release dates. The actual availability may vary as the update rolls out in stages.

What Does OriginOS 7 Bring to iQOO and Vivo Phones?

OriginOS 7 is based on Android 17 and introduces a refreshed interface, smoother animations and improvements to the overall software experience. The update also brings AI-powered tools and multitasking enhancements to OriginOS 7 eligible devices.

Some of the notable OriginOS 7 features include Fluid Motion and Spring Animation for smoother transitions, along with AI Search and AI Recorder. Origin Workbench also improves multitasking with floating windows, while cross-device features are designed to make sharing files between supported devices easier.

Meanwhile, iQOO has also confirmed that the iQOO 16 will launch in India soon. The iQOO 16 will arrive with OriginOS 7 pre-installed, making it the first smartphone to offer the update out of the box.

For existing users, the best option is to check Settings -> System Update as their scheduled rollout window approaches. Since updates are released in phases, it may take some time to reach every eligible device.
