Durga Puja in Kolkata isn't just a festival it’s an emotion, a visual spectacle, and a celebration of life on every single street corner. Today marked Day 01 of our Durga Puja Photowalk, and what an unforgettable kickoff it was!

From legendary pandals to unexpected rain showers, here is how our day unfolded! 👇

📍 Phase 1: The Golden Hour Kickoff

We gathered with high energy, cameras ready, and lenses focused. At 3:00 PM, we officially flagged off our photowalk starting from Chorbagan Durga Puja Park. The vibrant street atmosphere instantly set the mood as we moved through Kolkata’s iconic lanes:

🏛️ Chorbagan Durga Puja Park – Setting the tone with stunning artwork and vibrant festive vibes.

🏮 Kashi Bose Lane – Famous for its artistic brilliance and detailed storytelling.

🎨 Nalin Sarkar Street – Capturing the delicate craftsmanship and cultural heritage.

✨ Sikdar Bagan – Timeless art that had every creator framing non-stop!

🚋 A Classic Kolkata Tram Ride – On our way between pandals, we hopped onto Kolkata’s iconic heritage tram! Capturing cinematic frames from inside the moving wooden coach was pure nostalgia.

(After logging thousands of steps and hundreds of frames, it was time for our signature community tradition the Refreshment Break!)

🍗 The Essential Biryani Recharge

We all headed over to AMINIA Restaurant to recharge with Kolkata's legendary Biryani and steaming discussions about camera angles, composition, and lighting.

Refueled and energized, we were ready to take on the second half of the day!

🌧️ Rain Couldn't Stop the Questers!

Just as we stepped back out for another round of crazy pandal hopping, monsoon clouds rolled in and down came the rain!

But when you are in Bengal during Durga Puja, a little rain stops nothing! True to the spirit of Kolkata Bongos don't worry about anything, especially during Pujo!

Equipped with umbrellas, rain covers, and unshakeable enthusiasm, our Questers kept walking, kept exploring, and kept shooting. With rain-splashed lenses and drenched legs, we turned every raindrop and reflection into stunning creative frames! 🌧️📸

🏮 The Grand Finale: Tala Prattoy

As the rain cleared, the illuminated streets glistened even brighter. We wrapped up our epic Day 01 journey at the breathtaking Tala Prattoy a visual masterpiece that served as the perfect conclusion to an incredible day.

💛 Closing Thoughts

Day 01 has officially come to an end, but the memories, laughter, and incredible frames will stay with us forever. A huge shoutout to all the amazing Questers who brought so much energy, passion, and resilience to the streets today!
