Within 48 Hours the Game Ranked #1in Free Apps of both Android and IOS .

What is BGMI ? 

Battlegrounds Mobile India is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, exclusively for players in India. It is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by Krafton. The game was initially released on 2 July 2021 for Android devices, and on 18 August 2021 for iOS devices. It was introduced after the ban of PUBG .

Why PUBG was Baned

 MEITY ( Ministry Of Electronics and Information Technology) released a list of 117 Applications including PUBG.  Stating that these applications are not taking care of users privacy and they are misusing the information of the users data with chineses linkage.

BGMI's Ban 

BGMI was removed from Playstore(Android) and Appstore(IOS) in July 2022 , This time government wasn't banned it officially , they said that this has been done because of Security Concerns .

BGMI's Comeback

On 22nd May BGMI was back again on Playstore , but the servers of the Game was not accessible, and there was a popup message stating that it will be playable on 29th May 2023.

Although the servers of the Game was opened for Android players around 7:30 AM

but it was opened for IOS players around 11AM .

What's Next ...

According to the Government Of India Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar "This is a 3 month trial approval of #BGMI after it has complied wth issues of server locations n data security etc.

We will keep a close watch on other issues of User harm, Addiction etc in next 3 months before a final decision is taken "
