In the dynamic world of smartphones and technology, community engagement has become a pivotal aspect for brands to connect with their users effectively.

Recently I've come across so many users having queries on how someone gets to become a community moderator.

On 12th May 2023, iQOO surprised by selecting me as one of the moderators. It was a dream come true and still can't thank enough @Nipun Marya   , @Parakram Hazarika   and @iQOO Connect  team and also Riya, Amit, Tanishka and Upasna for having me onboarded as one of the Moderators.

iQOO Community on the other hand has been growing at light speed and someday eventually there will be a need for new Community Moderators.

Today I'm sharing all my experiences on how I became a moderator as I'm sure there are so many questers out there who have been wanting to become a Moderator. 

I'll also share on how an ideal Moderator Quester needs to be and also what are roles and responsibilities of a moderator.

So let's start from the top

To achieve this, they rely on a crucial team of individuals known as "iQOO Community Moderators."

What is an iQOO Community Moderator?

An iQOO Community Moderator is a dedicated individual who plays a pivotal role in the iQOO community ecosystem. This esteemed position is not just about wielding authority but rather revolves around empowerment, communication, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Community Moderators are the bridge between iQOO users, enthusiasts, and the brand itself.

iQOO Community Moderators work closely with the @iQOO Connect   team as well as @Nipun Marya   , @Parakram Hazarika   @ShankarSingh    , other amazing moderators and bunch of cool guys working at iQOO itself making it a collaborative mindset working towards achieving a goal.

Qualities of an Outstanding iQOO Community Moderator:

4. Problem-Solving Abilities.

How to Become an iQOO Community Moderator:

1. Active Participation:

To catch the attention of iQOO's community management team, aspiring moderators should actively participate in the iQOO community forums, social media groups, and online discussions. Sharing insights, providing helpful answers, and assisting fellow community members showcase dedication and expertise.

2. Showcase Leadership:

Leadership qualities, such as being a part of  constructive discussions, participating in  community events, and guiding new members, are highly regarded by iQOO when selecting moderators.

3. Demonstrate Passion for the Brand:

An unwavering enthusiasm for iQOO products and the brand philosophy resonates well with the community management team. Sharing experiences and advocating for iQOO's innovations build credibility.

4. Stay Updated and Informed:

Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and iQOO's product launches exhibits a proactive attitude and helps moderators provide accurate and current information to the community.

5. Positive and Supportive Attitude:

A positive and supportive attitude towards fellow community members, regardless of their experience level, encourages engagement and makes the community an enjoyable space for everyone.Being a role model for respectful communication sets the tone for how other community members interact with each other.

6.Team Player Mentality:

iQOO Community Moderators work closely with the iQOO team and other Moderators. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work as a team player are fundamental in achieving common goals and maintaining a cohesive community.

Last and not the least:

This thread is very close to my heart as I have tried to mention every important aspect of my journey from a Quester and now as a moderator.
