Great news for BGMI fans! Now, BGMI players are prepared to take on competitors from around the World.

Many BGMI esports players express disappointment about only competing against Indian opponents, unlike other games with global matchmaking that allows them to face competitive players from around the world. While most battle royale games have global events and competitions, BGMI is primarily centered around India, limiting international participation.

However, Krafton has taken a step in bridging this gap by introducing an invitational event that connects BGMI players with the global gaming community. It is hoped that Krafton will continue to host future events that facilitate interactions with players from around the world.

The BGMI India vs South Korea Invitational event is scheduled to take place from October 26 to 28, 2023.

This marks the first occasion in which Krafton is organizing a BGMI event that pits India against South Korea.

Over the course of three days, eight teams from each country will engage in a fierce competition. Further details regarding this invitational tournament are expected to be disclosed by the authorities in the coming days.

The eight Indian squads have been chosen from the BGIS 2023, which concluded on October 15. Meanwhile, eight South Korean teams from the PUBG Mobile Pro Series have successfully secured their positions in this forthcoming tournament.
