Now a days Metmo cubes are getting very popular as an art piece, paper weight or stress reliever. According to the brand it's made for designers, engineers, thinkers, and anyone who wants to just take a moment and focus, relieve stress or simply just play around.

All you need to do is invert the cube and let gravity get to work. The cubes are specially designed to allow the air to escape at a controlled rate, its an oddly satisfying cube that works in the palm of your hand.

The process used to create such cubes is called wire EDM (electrical discharge machining) and it's now so advanced that in some industries cuts are being made to 0.02mm, so precise and minute which are hard to observe from naked eyes. Let me explain this to put that into perspective, the average width of a human hair is only 0.08mm and they are cutting the metal cubes at 0.02mm! That's how they achieve such a seamless and mesmerising effect.

Each cube has a precision laser sintered 3D printed base that tightly regulates the airflow through the cube to give it the most satisfying pneumatic motion. The level of engineering that goes into creating something this precise is very special.

It takes a great deal of skill, time and extremely expensive machinery to create the MetMo Cubes, that's the reason why they are very costly.

The cube is made from solid stainless steel and weighs 500 grams. It's super satisfying to hold, fiddle with or even just stare at. Each side has been completely grounded flat and then a brushed finish is applied to the surface to provide the cube a super smooth touch.

what are your thoughts about this cube? Would you like to have one for your workdesk?
