Hey there everyone,
Hope you guys are doing fantastic out there, I am here with an exciting content for you all. It is all about the recent LAN that took place recently in New Delhi.
This was the first ever International LAN event of BGMI i.e. India vs Korea Invitational.
The LAN Event took place in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi started from 26th Oct to 28th Oct. Oct to 28th Oct. There was free entry for the general audience on the basis of FCFS system. Luckily, I was at the management so that I could witness everything happening at the Back Stage with the Star Players.
There were 8 Korean teams and 8 Indian Teams who have qualified from the BGIS 2023 being among the Top-8 teams. The teams were supposed to play 5 matches each day, in total 15 matches for 3 Days. Including BGMI there were tournament matches of Real Cricket'22 as well as Krafton's latest launch Road to Valor: Empires.
Let's have a deep dive on to the list of Invited teams, and the Players.
The Competition state was huge! As like the International LAN event. Players were seprated by country Left side being Team India, Right side was Team Korea. Infact, BGMI was new to Team Korea but they carry a large set of experience of playing more with the International teams in the PUBG Mobile Global Lobby which we lack due of Obvious reasons.
Lets start with the real battle of 3 Days between both the countries.
For the first time ever, I have heard so powerful chants for the players which got me Goosebumps. It was like, this is what we were waiting for! Lets do this! I was at the stage so it was more louder and clear. The players were extremly excited and pumped up at the same time overloaded with confidence.
The first two matches were of BGMI for then carrying on with RTV and RC then again 3 More matches of BGMI.
Audience seemed not so much interested in both the other games because the were here for BGMI Action only. So, they left the stadium early.
First day was of Team India i.e. Gods Reign who have dominated the Lobby following with 3 more Indian Teams at the first page which was a proud moment for us.
Here is the overall points standing of Day1 BGMI
The event schedule was changed a bit for Day 2.
We started with RC'22 and RTV:E then BGMI.
Day 2 was something we were expecting to make ourselves go more closer to the Trophy, but it didn't go as planned. On Day 2 we saw sheer Domination by the Korean team DPLUS KIA who is a much more Experienced lineup secured the first position with back-to-back 2 WWCD.
From nowhere, TWM Gaming and Blind Esports made a comeback onto the first page. At the end of the day, 5 Indian teams were on the First Page.
The Schedule for the third day was same as the second day, but it was really the Day of Chaos. To Support Team XSpark, Indian Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal came all the way to the arena which gave the event more hype.
Again, DPLUSKIA started their day with a banger but our Indian Team Blind esports was no more behind, there were raining number of kills by those teams. They just dominated the lobby following with some Amazing clutch moments. We were suprised to see on Sunday that there were many supporters of the Korean Teams as well! They were overjoyed by the love they have received from the Indians.
After DPLUSKIA's winning run! and Multiple Chicken Dinners they have became the first edition of INDvsKorea Invitational event. The crowd went MAD! with the chants.
Lets look at the podium now
In Real Cricket 22, by Great Batting and Bowling skills Jayesh Kotadiya won the championship with Rs. 5,00,000 Winning amount.
In Road to Valor: Empires championship, Titans Claw claimed the first ever trophy of RTV:E following Jim Kazma being the runner up
In Battle Grounds Mobile India,
With the best IGLing skills, DKXFAVIAN from DPLUSKIA won the best IGL Title.
DKXNOIBU is the person with the highest number of Kills in 3 days. The person with most number of Kills has secured this award of MVP.
The team from Korea EMTEK Stormx secured the 2nd Runner's up position with 171 Points.
Whereas Our Indian Glory Team Gods Reign secured the Runner's Up position following the winners.
DPLUSKIA a PMGC Team from South Korea hailed the Title with their Experience and 217 Points that includes 5x Chicken Dinners.
This was a great learning curve for the Indian teams because we are not used to international Play Styles. Players were very much happy by the experience they have got by this tournament and they are looking forward for more such events.
We will surely win the Interatioal trophy next time.
Hope you like this one! Stay tuned because there are more such LAN events coming very soon! @iQOO Connect
