Hey Guys,

As promised, I am back with the Recap thread and BTS scenes of the Skyesports Championship 5.0 LAN Event. This is the 5th Edition of this tournament happening on-ground in Kormangala Indoor Stadium, Bangalore. Lets see what have we experienced there. The Prizepool here is Rs. 2.12Cr.

There were teams who advanced to this tournament from the previous edition of Skyesports Championship and a few teams had qualified from the Qualifiers.

Now, lets know about the teams participating in this event.

Here are the list of teams that is playing this tournament:

Luckily we went on the second day of the game because the first day got suspended due to the technical glitch. The Day1 had called off and instead of Playing 18 Matches, 6 Matches each day should have been played but, due to suspension of the first day Ts had to take the decisions and they decided to play 7 Matches each day which makes 14 Matches for 2 days in total.

It's Day2 of the Skyesports Championship 5.0

It was our first day in the Arena, the massive Kormangala Indoor stadium in Begaluru. We collected our Exclusive VIP Passes from the VIP gate arranged by @iQOO Connect   Team. The bands that we got have mentioned Friends of Sky which grants entry of our to every Zone in the arena including free Food and Beverages. 

When we were about to enter the main door, it felt like a Cricket Stadium full of Energy and Enthusiasts. The BGMI as an Esports has spread extremly to the wider audience. Audience were hooting for their favourite teams and Pleyers, especially SOUL and GodL Fans. We were seated in the VIP seats taking the front with our beverages waiting for the show to begin.

It was Day 2 so the Players directly went on to the stage and the Game Began! The Adrenaline rush in the audience went too high as we see the 4v4 fights, the enjoyment of it went on to an extent. Luckily I was seated at the front of Team Soul :D.

It was an all different feeling when you are seeing your Favourite players playing live in the LAN, watching their realtime expressions with their performance.

The amazing matches went through 1-by-1, the fun and excitement keep on increasing when we were inching towards the end of the day. After every match in LAN, you can see the team discussions of the players with their respective coaches planning out their strategies for the next upcoming match. This will help you learn about the Professional Esport's much more. 

Also, it was very amazing to see majority of the audience were holding our iQOO Devices.

The day went smooth, GodsReign the #ReignSupreme team started the event with the Chicken Dinner, following with a Fantastic Clutch by Jonathan in the Match 2 that Led GodLike to get the Chicken Dinner in the second match of the tournament.

In Match 3, Team Blind snatched the WWCD from Team Soul in the game of Sanhok. Again

In Match 4, which was the game of Vikendi Team Blind took away the WWCD from Orangutan going towards the Top of the table.

It was now 3 matches left, Miramar, Erangle, Erangle.

Match 5, Team Blind creates history and takes an Hattrick WWCD again from Orangutan, Will Hoo-Hoo squad be able to fight back again? The hattrick made the crowd go crazy, they went wild!

Match 6, this match again created history Orangutan: The Ape army making a hattrick of #2 and Team Gladiators gets the WWCD.

Match 7, It was the last game of Erangel, The Sensei Army i.e. Team Revenant gets the massive chicken dinner from Team Soul. This made a big impact on the Overall standings. Let's see,

Team Blind Tops the chart by a huge margin.

The Finale: Skyesports Championship 5.0

Its Day 3, the Finale Evening and we can smell the atmosphere out there. The crowd at the gate going crazy! Its double the crowd of what we have witnessed the previous day. The chants were doubled up, the team confidence doubled up and we were ready as well as excited for the chaos to happen in the overall chart inside the Kormangala Indoor Stadium, In Bengaluru.

Before the start of the game, we have witnessed the Gigantic trophy for the first time and in real it is one of the biggest Trophy I have ever seen. 

The players started entering the arena one-by-one showing the glimpse of their confidence to the audience.

Before the game starts, we have seen the MVP Chart where Spower is at the First position with 15 Finishes, and Fierce chasing with 15 Kills as well.

The first game of Erangle started with a tough circle covering both the parting islands. And, Oh Boy! Team GodLike gets a Massive Chicken dinner in the very first match with 14 Finishes. The Crowd went mad, we got mad and were shouting like hell with evergy, there is no such moment I have witnessed ever before.

Match 2: The game of Miramar, and what I was witnessing at that moment couldn't have been more good. After Godlike, Team Soul got a BIG BIG Chicken Dinner with Goblin being back in Action! This doubled up the happiness, doubled up the energy, and the atmosphere was just looking like a dream come true moment.

Before the start of match 3, a special guest joined in. Shri N.A. Haris (Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He gave a speech to the Audience and wish the players a Good Lock.

Match 3: The game of Sanhok, the game of chaos where anything is possible started. Again, last zone was of Land and Water an extreme difficult zone. Once again, Team Blind clinched the WWCD from Team Soul by just 1 Player left. As I said at the starting, it is the day of chaos and we were witnessing one.

Match 4: The game of Icy Lands i.e. Vikendi. Again it is like Sanhok, anything can happen based on the zone favour. But, Gladiators made Vikendi very easy for them and took the WWCD with Two men alive. It's their first Chicken dinner of the tournament.

Before the start of the match, Casters came on to the stage and were giving awayLoco VIP Tshirts to the audience who so ever shout the name loudest. Phew! It was fun. Now, looking at the points table Team Blind have maintained their first position with 40Pts lead but the real chaos was happening between 2nd and 8th Positions. And, same MVP list as before Spower and Fierce equalising.

Match 5: The game of Erangle, Zone was very easy. Now, it will be the game of skills and Team work. But, it is an Open Circle at the end where OR Esports coming from nowhere snatched the WWCD from Marcos Gaming. Fantastic performance by Team OR and Jelly.

Match 6: The last game of Desert, the Miramar in this Skyesport Championship 5.0 which is won by the Home team, Team Gods Reign addition of Owais made the team cross the finish line. I believe whole points standing have changed by this game but we couldn't see that now.

Match 7: Now the final game in the OG Map, Erangle. WHAAAT! Have you seen that? Have you seen what is Revenant doing? There are 25 Men alive and from No where the team lead by Sensei became so aggressive that they already have 12 Finishes with No men loss.  They can literally snatch the trophy from Blind if they get 30 Points in this match.

But No! Revenant just got wiped off at 5th Position and 13 Finishes. It's 19 Points, have they made it at the top?

OR Got the WWCD and instantly we have the name of the Champions on the big screen.

Who is the champion? It is TEAM BLIND!

Revenant just missed the Trophy by 11 Points! being the runners up but Blind held the championship by their majestic performance. The buffer made by three hattricks was extremly huge.

The squad having Manya, Joker, Nakul, Rony, Spower, Mayavi and Ayogi finally made it! They are now crowned champions of one of the Finest LAN Tournaments.

But who is the MVP? It is FIERCE from team Revenant!

Unbelievable, he is a Kill Machine

There were manny different prizes that were awarded to the best of them, and the event concluded on a very good note. We have seen many ups and downs on this tournament, experiencing it Live is an all different feeling.
