Excitement is brewing as the BMPS 2023, a highly anticipated BGMI event, kicks off on November 22nd. This year, a whopping 96 Indian teams are all set to compete for glory. Remember the first season back in 2022? It was a showdown with 24 teams battling for a massive ₹2 crore prize pool. This time around, Krafton has set the stakes high with a ₹1 crore prize pool divided into two phases: the league stage and the grand finals.

The team that clinches the BMPS 2023 trophy will walk away with a grand prize of ₹40 lakh. It's a big deal and all the clubs are geared up, aiming to end the year on a high note by claiming this prestigious title.

Good news is, the scoring system remains unchanged. The familiar 15-point system will still be used for this season.

here's how the league stage unfolds:

Krafton has evenly split the 96 teams into 12 groups. The first six groups are called Group Blue, while the rest are Group Red. These groups will compete separately in a round-robin format.

Starting from November 22nd and running through December 9th, the league stage spans three weeks. Each team will participate in 15 matches. There's an interesting twist each week—teams will earn bonus points based on their weekly rank, and groups will be shuffled regularly.

Consistency is key here. The top 16 teams from the overall leaderboard (Week 1 + 2 + 3) will advance to the grand finals. It's a tough journey, and only the most consistent performers will make it to the ultimate round.

During the league stage, each day will see five thrilling games. The first and fifth matches will be played on the Erangel map, while Miramar, Sanhok, and Vikendi will host the other three matches. You won't miss out on the action as Krafton will broadcast all the matches on its BGMI India Esports' YouTube channel.

Here's the daily map rotation for the Pro Series:

1. Match 1 - Erangel

Last year's BMPS was dominated by the fan-favorite BGMI club, Team SouL. Led by Omega, they're now eyeing to defend their title in this season. But there's fierce competition ahead, with many teams vying to claim their first Pro Series championship.
