Hey Questers, As Krafton has already announced about BMPS 2023, here's everything you need to know!!

Introduction

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is one of the most popular and competitive mobile games in India. It has a huge fan base and a thriving esports scene.

Every year, BGMI players and teams compete in various tournaments to showcase their skills and win amazing prizes.

One of the most anticipated tournaments of the year is Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series 2023 (BMPS) 2023.

This is the second edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) hosted by KRAFTON with a total prize pool of ₹1,00,00,000 INR.

The BMPS is the highest level of competition in BGMI, where the best teams from India battle it out for glory and fame.

Format

This year introduces a completely new format.

• A Total of 96 Teams will be participating in this Tournament.
• These 96 teams are divided into 12 groups with 8 teams in each group as Group 1-12.
• These 12 Groups are further divided into 2 Groups as Group Blue and Group Red with 6 Groups of teamsin each Group
• Group Red comprises of the teams in Groups 1-6.
• Group Blue comprises of the teams in Groups 7-12.

League Stage :

• Groups Red and Blue each will play for 3 days per week for 3 weeks.
• The matches for each Group will be in a round robin format.
• The groups will get reshuffled after each game week.
• A cumulative points table for all 96 teams will be prepared.
• Top 16 from the cumulative points table will qualify for Grand Finals.

Points System :

• Points per match : 

Kill Points - 1 Kill Point per Kill

• Points per Game week :

• Bonus points will be awarded to the teams at the end of evenry game week on the basis of their placement in Overall points table for that week.

My Opinion

I have mixed feelings about this format and the same old point system in this tournament, but It will be fun to watch🤩

As the Reigning Champions of BMPS 2022 and my Favourite team, I will be rooting for Team Soul.💓
