Hello everyone! I am ecstatic to update all of you on what happened in the iQOO 12 Sneak Peek Session through this thread.
I was excited after being shortlisted to attend the session and I made immediate arrangements to ensure my presence. There were approximately 120 Questers that showed up at the venue, the highest numbers ever recorded for an iQOO Connect community meetup. It was a pleasure to get to know different minds there, and it was an entirely amazing session thanks to @Parakram Hazarika , our lone moderator @Cv18 and the entire iQOO team.
The session started off with everyone introducing themselves. I, being one of the first 500 members on this wonderful platform, didn't hesitate to show off a little. From rappers to architects and lecturers, we witnessed people from various backgrounds show up to the session and it was a great sight.
Soon after everyone was introduced, we moved on to the product briefing. iQOO's Product Manager, Mr. Piyush took us through a long ride through the specifications and features of the product. I shall cover the specifications of the product in another thread, but I prefer not to share a few key details as it will ruin the excitement of the official launch event held in Delhi. So, save up all your curiosity for the 12th of December to know everything about the iQOO 12.
The QnA session went as long as my everyday college schedule, with multiple people having a list of questions regarding the product. Interestingly, majority of the questions were out-of-the-box thoughts and one of them allowed Mr. Piyush to consider adding/removing a feature from different perspectives, to see how many people would be benefitted if a particular feature is added or removed. The most anticipated question was, however, the price of iQOO 12. Mr. Piyush wasn't ready to spill the tea, which only means we will have to wait until the 12th to find out.
To our surprise, there was a giveaway organized for the first time in the history of iQOO Connect's community meetups, wherein each person had to write their name on a paper, fold it and put it inside a jar. With more than 100 papers inside that very jar, the chances for me to win only reduced. There were 15 winners from the giveaway, out of which the first five names to be chosen from the lucky draw were awarded with an Amazon voucher worth Rs. 2000 each, while the other ten were gifted an Amazon voucher worth Rs. 1000 each. This was a new attempt at executing something new, and it was undoubtedly a great success, hats off to Mr. Parakram sir.
The lucky draw event ended with some memorable group pictures with all the Questers and the iQOO team.
We had a quick lunch break post-giveaway before gearing up for a BGMI session. The BGMI games were hosted in Duos mode, and lasted for quite a few hours. Since I don't play the game, I took this time to click a few pictures using the iQOO 12. Here are some snaps taken for showcasing (featuring @Cv18 , @ShwetankPandey ):
The screening of the BGMI matches through a projector allowed me to click pictures and spectate the players at the same time. The Questers kept trading and finding multiple finishes throughout the games, while the third game was perhaps the most interesting for me as the results did not turn up to be as many expected it to.
The winners of the BGMI session were rewarded as follows:
Finally, after the prize winners of the BGMI event were awarded with their respective prizes, we came towards the end of the Sneak Peek session, where Mr. Parakram as always, thanked the Questers for showing up in large numbers and creating a new benchmark for the following Community meetups to come. It was an entertaining day filled with a lot of interactions and enjoyment. It made my Sunday worth the time, and I am sure that is the case for everyone who showed up for the session.
On a side note, our forum now has close to 490,000 Questers! Let us get that number up to 500,000 before the official release of iQOO 12, shall we? This will not only relieve Mr. Parakram, but also allow him to bring more and more fun events in the future.
Thanks to everyone that read till the end. I will cover the specifications of the iQOO 12 in another thread, so stay tuned!
