Chinese smartphone brand Vivo's subsidiary, iQOO, has confirmed that its upcoming flagship, the iQOO 12, will come pre-installed with FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14. In a recent social media post on X, iQOO India confirmed the use of the latest Android operating system for their upcoming smartphone. The post also introduced new lock screen customization features for the iQOO 12, stating, Unlock a world of personalization with the all-new #FuntouchOS14 based on #Android14 in the new #iQOO12 Lock Screen Customization.
The firm has officially revealed the iQOO 12's India launch date as December 12. Furthermore, it's been confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

iQOO India has teased a preview, affirming its ongoing partnership with the German car brand BMW for the iQOO 12 smartphone debut.
In terms of specs, reports suggest the iQOO 12 will sport a QHD E7 OLED display with a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate. GSMArena indicates that the flagship will integrate a dedicated graphics processor, supporting hardware-accelerated ray tracing to elevate the gaming experience.
iQOO 12 Camera Setup and Battery Details Revealed
The rear of the iQOO 12 will showcase a triple-camera arrangement, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide sensor, and a 64MP telephoto lens.
Powering the iQOO 12 is anticipated to be a substantial 6,000 mAh battery, complemented by a remarkable 200W fast wired charging capability.
