The much awaited BGMI 2.9 Update is here, with a bunch of new features and events.

This thread will be your ultimate guide for all the features in BGMI's 2.9 update:

Frozen Kingdom : Themed Mode

A new themed mode has been introduced with 2.9 Update called the Frozen Kingdom.

• It is available for Erangel, Vikendi and Livik.

• In this Mode, There are two types of Point of Interest (POI) :

1. The Snowy Hamlet :

1. Located at Random spots all over the map
2. It has high loot.
3. Vikendi / Winter style houses and buildings are there.
4. Gliding Lines are present to travel faster by gliding on them.

2. Snowy Village : 

1. Located in Place of Stalber in Erangel, Goroka in Vikendi and IceBorg in Livik.
2. Spread over a large area.
3. Vikendi / Winter style houses and buildings are there.
4. Gliding lines are also present here.
5. There's an Ice Castle at the center of the Snowy Village.
6. Very High Loot.

There's a bell at the top, which gives an Air drop of supplies on ringing it.

• New Vehicles for themed mode:

1. Snowboard :

1. Spawns at random areas.
2. Can be stored in bagpack.
3. Can be used to Glide faster downhills.
4. Can be used to jump at high speeds.
5. Can only carry 1 person.
6. 
   

7. 2. Reindeer and Sleigh

   :

1. Spawns only in The Snowy Hamlet and The Snowy Village.
2. Can carry 2 people at once.
3. Can be used to travel through any terrain at high speed.
4. Can jump really high, and can be applied in tips and tricks.
5. Can be used to attach a sleigh and carry a total of 4 people.
6. Can also fly with sleigh attached.

• New Weapon for Themed Mode :

 Snowball Blaster :

1. It uses Snow Ammo.
2. It is accomodated in the Pistol slot.
3. It can be used to create temporary snow cover.
4. It can be used to turn enemy into snowman, after which they can't damage you for some time.
5. It can also be used to block windows and doorways.

Ice Treasure :

1. Spawn at random locations.
2. Can be broken using Melee weapons or Guns.
3. Gives High quality loot when Broken.

Fiore X-Suit :

A Brand New X-Suit has been introduced with this update:

Its various forms are :

1 Star : Basic Appearance

2 Star : Spectacular Arrival

3 Star : Advanced Form

4 Star : Victory Broadcast

5 Star : Shock and Awe

1. Entry Emote :

6 Star : Final Form

1. Outfits :

3. Broadcast :

7 Star : Radiant Form

New Royale Pass

With 2.9 Update, a new Royale Pass, RP A3 has started.

BGMI X Ranveer

In this update, BGMI has collaborated with Ranveer Singh.

Exclusive outfits are added :

Ranveer Singh's Voice Pack has also been added:

1. Increased Smoothness
2. Better optimised.
3. Fixed Bugs.
4. and many more...

It is a very interesting update. The themed mode seems interesting, The X-Suit is incredibly beautiful and the collaboration with Ranveer Singh was unexpected.
