iQOO Neo 9 Pro tipped to launch in       India with a different chipset;       company confirms display specs

iQOO Neo 9 series is confirmed to launch in China on December 27th along with its first smartwatch and TWS earbuds, the iQOO Watch and iQOO TWS 1e on the same stage. The lineup will include two models: the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro and these succeed the iQOO Neo 8 series. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed the display specifications of the phone.

Separately, tipster Mukul Sharma has exclusively revealed that the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will be launching in India and also mentioned the timeline of the same.

 iQOO Neo 9 Pro India launch tipped

° Tipster Mukul Sharma claims  that iQOO Neo 9 Pro will be launching in India soon, probably around early January.

° The Indian variant will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, according to the tipster.

° In comparison, the China variant is already confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.

° Mukul also says the red-colour dual-tone design variant will be launched in the country.

   iQOO Neo 9 series display details confirmed

° The iQOO Neo 9 series is confirmed to feature a 1.5K 8T all-weather super-sensing screen with a 144Hz refresh rate.

° The phones will feature flagship-level LTPO technology for enhanced speed and energy efficiency.

° iQOO says the screen can sustain 100 hours of continuous touch, thereby setting a challenge to achieve the industry’s lowest click latency.

° There is support for a new dimming mode, chip-level smart eye protection 2.0 and SGS dual certification for low blue light and low flicker.

° These features will be enabled via an OTA update in January.

 iQOO Neo 9 series specifications (tipped)

° Display: The iQOO Neo 9 might have a 6.78-inch OLED display with curved edges, 2800 x 1260 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming.

° Processor: The standard iQOO Neo 9 might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Pro version will ship with the  MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC backed by a Mali-G720 Immortalis MP12 GPU.

° The phones might ship with a dedicated Q1 gaming chip for gaming enhancements.

Battery: 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The Pro version may have a 5,160mAh battery with the same charging speed.

° Other features: An under-the-display fingerprint sensor for security and an IR blaster.

RAM/Storage: Up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage.

° Software: Android 14-based OriginOS custom skin out of the box.

° Cameras: The iQOO Neo 9 could feature a 50MP SonyIMX920 primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 50MP ultrawide snapper. There could be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies.

Remember, this is just speculation based on leaks and rumors. The official details will be revealed by iQOO when they launch the phone in India.
