Greetings, fellow Questers!

I trust all is well with you. Lately, I've come across numerous posts across various gaming forums, particularly inquiring about in-game sensitivity for BGMI. It's intriguing how, during live streams featuring pro gamers like Jonathan, the chat is flooded with requests for their sensitivity settings.

The question arises:

does mimicking Jonathan's sensitivity truly make one play like Jonny Bhai? The humor lies in the quest for replicating someone else's settings.

Now, let's embark on the journey to establish your unique sensitivity and have others clamoring to know your secrets.

Let the quest begin!

What is Sensitivity

Before delving into sensitivity settings, it's crucial to grasp the concept and mechanics behind it. Sensitivity essentially defines the responsiveness of your display to control in-game characters, determining the speed and precision of your interactions. It's the measure of how swiftly and accurately your input translates into on-screen actions.

Hardware and Sensitivity

Now that we've grasped the essence of sensitivity, let's explore its correlation with hardware. Imagine your friend requests your sensitivity settings, owning a high-end device like the iQOO 12, while you have a lower-end device from a different brand. Although copying his settings might transfer them to your character, the discrepancy arises in usability. While it's a breeze for you and your friend find it challenging.

This discrepancy is rooted in the distinct hardware and software attributes of each device.

For instance,

the iQOO 12 boasts a Qool display, responsive touch, and a potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This powerhouse allows for lower sensitivity, providing optimal response. Attempting to replicate this on a lower-end device may result in sluggish or subpar responsiveness due to variations in display quality and processing power. In essence, hardware plays a pivotal role in the sensitivity equation.

Can I apply my friend's iQOO 12 sensitivity settings and hardware specifications to my device? However, even if the devices and specs are similar, it doesn't guarantee I can play as well as him, for the reasons explained below.

Claws and Sensitivity

The number of claws you use significantly influences your sensitivity. For instance, if your friend plays with four claws while you use only two, the layout becomes a crucial factor in sensitivity. Playing with four claws is considered more professional, offering quick movements and developing extensive muscle memory for precise firing.

However, even with two claws, players like Jonny Bhai can achieve remarkable muscle memory and pattern practice. When you try to adopt your friend's sensitivity with your two claws, you may find it challenging because the recoil control for four claws differs from other controls. This divergence in recoil control makes it difficult to seamlessly use the same sensitivity. Now, do you still want Jonny Bhai's sensitivity settings?

Gyro and Sensitivity

Understanding the difference in gyroscope usage in the gaming world, when copying a friend's sensitivity, especially if they are a full gyro player like Jonny bhai, can lead to significant differences. The gyro aids in recoil control and sprays, shaping the sensitivity according to gyro-based techniques. If you, as a non-gyro player, adopt the same sensitivity, the touch response may feel insufficient due to the absence of gyro assistance.

What is the Solution ?

To address this, you need to adjust your sensitivity settings based on the device you use for gaming and your preferred playing style, whether it involves gyro or not. It's crucial to grasp the distinct mechanisms for setting sensitivity in-game, including ADS (Aim Down Sight) sensitivity, Gyroscope Sensitivity (if you're utilizing gyro), and Lens or Camera Sensitivity.

ADS (Aim Down Sight)

The crucial sensitivity in aiming is the aim down sensitivity, which involves controlling your touch while firing, whether it's during hipfire, peek fire, or any shooting scenario. In BGMI, the screen is divided into two parts: the left for camera sensitivity and the right for ads sensitivity. Adjustments are made based on recoil response, adding if it's too little and reducing if it's too much, to find the optimal ads sensitivity for the best performance.

Camera or lens Sensitivity

Lens sensitivity, a subtle yet valuable aspect, aids in observing and identifying enemies in your game without firing. Referred to as camera sensitivity, it applies to various actions like parachuting or driving. The rule is simple – higher camera sensitivity may overshoot the desired point on the screen, while lower sensitivity might not reveal the intended area. Adjustments, either adding or subtracting, are necessary to attain the precise lens sensitivity for optimal gameplay.

Gyroscope Sensitivity

Some gamers opt for Gyroscope Sensitivity, aiming for a competitive edge akin to players like Jonny bhai. This approach eliminates the need to rely solely on finger movements for recoil control or screen swiping when tracking opponents. Gyroscope functionality allows you to manage these actions by moving your device in various directions. Adjusting Gyroscope Sensitivity involves adding when the response is high and reducing when it's low, enhancing overall control in gameplay.

How to set your own sensitivity

To calibrate your sensitivity effectively, follow these steps. After a substantial gaming session, head to the training grounds.

Choose your favorite gun,

Attach only a magazine,

Avoid adding any other extensions except the scope.

This mimics real in-game scenarios where attachments might not always be available. Set your sensitivity methodically for each scope, starting with TTP no scope, TTP scope, FPP no scope, FPP scope, red dot, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, and finally, 8x.

Test each scope with lens sensitivity, then adjust ads sensitivity and gyro if you use the gyroscope feature. This process ensures a well-tailored sensitivity configuration for diverse gameplay situations.

Here's my Zero Recoil Sensitivity

The notions of "zero recoil" and "muscle memory" in gaming are often marketing terms employed by content creators to attract viewers. However, what truly matters is consistent practice for effective muscle memory. It takes around four days for humans to start learning something new, and approximately 40 days of daily practice to achieve proficiency. In the gaming context, practicing in the training grounds every day is essential. Regularly adjust your sensitivity, especially during in-game updates, as developers may alter the power of specific weapons. This adaptation ensures that you can adjust your gameplay accordingly.

Conclusion

I've shared comprehensive insights on setting sensitivity throughout this thread, and every word is my original contribution without borrowing from other sources. Initially, I sought advice on sensitivity for gaming, but my journey into eSports revealed the importance of finding one's unique sensitivity. Merely adopting Jonny Bhai's sensitivity won't make us play like him; the key lies in discovering and honing our own settings through consistent practice. It's a journey fueled by hard work and passion, and we must push our limits to achieve greatness. Best of luck to all in establishing your sensitivity and aspiring to become pros in the gaming realm.

Everyone in the world is a learner, and this inherent quality contributes to their potential for success.
