The annual refresh by Qualcomm infuses high-performance Al across the entire system to deliver some never-before- seen use-cases for Android smartphones.

For one, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 supports a chatbot trained on Meta's Llama 2, with the ability to accept text, image, and voice input.

It can also talk back to users conversationally, and can generate images or text as per the user's conversational inputs.

The chipset also supports Stable Diffusion, the AI image generator tool, with the company claiming results delivered in less than a second, eons faster than the couple of minutes it currently takes even on a high- performance laptop.
