Horimiya is considered a good anime due to its charming characters, heartwarming story, balanced tone, charming visuals, relatable themes, and faithful adaptation, the thought of getting together with Kyouko Horii and Izumi Miyamura will be the last thing on people's minds. After all, Horii has a perfect combination of beauty and brains, while Miyamura appears meek and distant to his fellow classmates. However, a fateful meeting between the two exposes their hidden identities. Even though he is popular at school, Horii has little time to socialize with his friends due to homework. Miyamura, on the other hand, lives right under the noses of his comrades, with secret tattoos and piercings on his body that make him look like a benign criminal.
